Looks just like a real composition notebook. The iPad Mini 6th gen fits perfectly in the case with a rubber bumper surrounding the edges and corners. The storage slot for the ApplePencil holds it securely while still allowing charging off the iPad and protecting the pencil (make sure flat side on Pencil faces iPad). Closing the cover turns off the iPad and vice-versa. The cover folds backward to open. Folding it unto itself turns it into a stand for the iPad. Be sure that the cover sticks magnetically to one of the folds. It must be secured there for it to function as a stand. Otherwise, the iPad won't stand up. TouchID works with this cover in either portrait for landscape position. I have tried other iPad covers and the thickness of their edging material prevented TouchID from working. The volume buttons are a bit stiff to press (likely because it's new), but it's tolerable. Camera opening is sized large enough so doesn't pollute photos with reflections from the flash. Plugging a charging cable may not work if the plug is larger than the standard Apple USB-C cable (even Apple's cable took a bit of wiggling to get it to connect). Larger USB-C charging cable ends probably won't fit at all due to the small size of the charging port opening in the cover. Fall protection is decent. The corners on the pen-storage side will protect better than the hinge side, but, overall, the bumpers surrounding the edges of the cover should absorb most falls as long as they're not from too high. I did not actually test this out, so it's just my personal opinion.

Exactly as promised, have owned for 2+ months now and it is durable and protects my ipad. I love the apple pencil holder inside. As time has gone on the pencil is held in looser and looser every day but I think that would happen with any case that doesn't have an actual strap to hold the pencil in. I like the design on the outside and it hasn't started to fade, crack, or wear at all as of now. It cleans easily with a damp paper towel or bleach wipe. Would definitely recommend and would buy again!

This case is super cute.. I got it as a temporary case as I have one on the way from another company. It feels sturdy to me which is great as I had read a previous review that stated it was flimsy. It fits the new iPad 2021 12.9” without issue. The price was great and it looks just like the composition notebook I was using for work. I’m hoping my new iPad will help me go paperless and I’m just loving how clever this whole setup is to me 😂 Only gave it 4 stars because the backing is a hard plastic and snapping in the iPad seemed rough.. not a case I would put on and take off frequently.

I love it!!! it looks so cool!! Just after a lot of use the pattern started to wear off a little bit. I wish the apple pencil holder was a little bit slimmer. But it’s amazing!!!
