Larger width than many mats available and soft. They laid flat in less than a day after arriving rolled up. I like the colorful blues in the pattern. Should be easy to clean since it is wipe off. My last mats were navy blue tufted nylon and collected lots of debris and had to be laundered frequently. Even then bits of debris clung to the fibers. I bought this to go in front of my kitchen stove, and I love it! I think it's well made; the design goes all the way around the mat, and doesn't stop or lift at any point, ie...not potential problem with the design "peeling". There's a complete continuation of color and design. It's easy to clean, too. The color and design were just right. A pretty blue, with a Paisley-style pattern. I am also VERY impressed with the fact that this mat DOES NOT SLIDE, like other brands I have bought for a lot more money!! Safe to use in a kitchen for sure, where there's a lot of spills and foot traffic, and it's easy to clean, as well! It's also the perfect thickness. Not too bulky, so that you don't trip over it.
