The bed seems to be designed for a mattress just 6-8 inches deep. Once we constructed it, the pillows on top the mattress blocked the headboard shelving, making them impossible to use in a way a buyer would expect. If my son hadn't put hours into assembly, we would have returned it. The dresser only allows the user to open one drawer at a time. I expected cheap materials given the price. I didn't expect to be cheated by a deceptive picture. READ THE DIMENSIONS BEFORE YOU ORDER. This might do okay with a very thin foam mattress. If you have a modern standard mattress, do not buy this set.

My preteen daughter is really happy with this bedroom set. It was a replacement for her little kid bedroom set. We built the pieces separately over the course of a few days. Everything went together easily enough for this kind of furniture. Keep in mind this is all particle board type furniture. It looks nice put together but is really cheaply made stuff. Again - it looks nice but you need to understand this will not hold up as well as real wood and since it is not real wood that's why it is so affordable in comparison.

We ordered this bed for our 13 year old daughter who was so excited. It's been up sinxe 1/2025. Within 11 months the support posts on the bottom have begun to slide out of place. The 90 degree brackets have completely bent. And more recently, one of the thin wood support beams actually pulled out of a long screw and broke altogether. Would not recommend at all as it is very cheaply made.

We had some issues with the third piece, but the company was extremely responsive and sent replacement product immediately. Very impressed with their customer service.
