I wasn't sure if this was going to meet my needs, but I saw an independent review on youtube that recommended this air purifier so I gave it a shot. It works as advertised and I'm very happy with it. I have a dog that can get a bit smelly sometimes and opening the windows isn't always an option. But running this unit for a few hours in the living room almost completely deodorizes the room and gives the air quality a noticeable boost. My living room/kitchen area is a little under 500 sq ft and it works perfectly there. I also use it in my bedroom on setting 2 and it's not very loud, but still keeps the air smelling fresh. I kind of like the steady background white noise actually.

I purchased the Levoit Vital 200S-P primarily because I needed a higher-capacity unit for my 900 sq feet living space and was impressed by the 1875 sq ft rating. After using it for 6 months, I can confirm it handles the space efficiently. Effective Dust and Dander Reduction: This was my main concern, and the unit definitely helps. I run it constantly, and I've noticed a measurable reduction in floating dust and pet hair from my [Mention pet, e.g., dog/cat]. The washable pre-filter is practical and reduces the frequency of main filter changes. Good Auto Mode: I appreciate the auto setting. The media could not be loaded. I live in Florida and unfortunately suffer from severe allergies to almost everything growing here in this environment but it’s so beautiful here so I stay lol! I’m currently undergoing allergy immunization therapy AKA allergy shots and my doctor recommended getting a hepa filter system for my home. After quite a bit of research and reading many of the other wonderful Amazon reviews, I decided to purchase the Levoit air purifier. It meets all the standards required for a true Hepa filtration system plus more . It has a built in pre-filter that can be cleaned and washed weekly and comes with the pre installed hepa filter. Comparing to other systems the replacement filters are much cheaper, 25$ for a pack of two other systems were running 35-40$ for one . They also have options to buy other types of filters based on your specific needs. I love the overall aesthetic and as far as functionality it’s super quiet ! It comes with an App that provides even more settings that work great. I prefer to keep it in Auto mode and it’s smart technology is so impressive to see how when I’m cooking or in the bathroom using hair products it detects poor air quality and kicks into clean the air . The digital display will change from blue ( good) green ( fair) orange ( compromised) red ( bad ) and the fan speed increases. The time it takes to return to the best air quality is so quick and efficient and I’ve noticed a HUGE change in the amount of dust in my furniture ( barely any now) and my sneezing and congestion has improved considerably. Even if you’re not an allergy sufferer just the overall freshness from odors especially if you have a family pet or do a lot of cooking it’s a great investment!!!

Seriously I’ve never bought a large air purifier like this but it’s truly excellent. My apartment has a slight smoke smell and the standard carbon filter clear it up entirely. Sleep or low speed is very quiet. I have it set to quiet basically ALL the time. The automation via the app and using google home automation is pretty seamless if your good with tech. The in-app automation is literally perfect. Even without wifi, the filters keep a memory of the setting your choose and will still turn on/off. I now have TWO of these filters, one for bedroom and my living room. GET THIS AIR FILTER. I’m not sponsored lol. I’m just a clean air nerd.

Purchased the Vital 200S March '25. We find that it's powerful, quiet, and pretty smart. I especially like when you're cooking, it detects a rise in "bad" air and ramps up (it's pretty loud when doing this, but not terrible) to filter odors and restore air quality. It covers a fairly large open space easily, and the app makes control effortless. Filters are simple to replace, and sleep mode is whisper‑quiet. Great value for anyone wanting cleaner air without the premium price tag. Also, to note, as of this writing filter is at 68%. Not bad for 8 months.
