I was originally skeptical about this product. I wanted to play some video games in my room without sitting on the floor and I figured this bean bag chair would do the trick, but I saw many negative reviews stating their bags weren't comfortable, or they were not full enough. I took my chances with this product and it was totally worth it! Most peoples' chairs took between 2-5 days to completely expand. Mine? It LITERALLY (no joke) took just 3 hours to completely expand to full size after opening it! It was big and full, and SUPER comfortable, despite the fact that you can feel the individual pieces of foam under you, but that isn't a problem at all. In fact, it feels like you're sitting on an inflatable or a cloud at times, which I really like. The only nitpicks I really have, though, is that there was a funky chemical smell that made me feel lightheaded, but that didn't last long either (maybe because 1. both windows in my room were open, 2. I sprayed it to reduce the odor, and 3. I had two fans running next to it). Also, this thing compresses after a while of sitting in it, but luckily this can easily be fixed by flipping it over and fluffing it. Do I recommend this product? Absolutely! This may be one of the best things you'll ever sit in. Maybe you'll even fall asleep in it while trying to watch Netflix at 3 AM! Make sure to get this bean bag and not the old crappy traditional "styrofoam bean" ones that will flatten after a short period of time and make you constantly buy more filling. ... show more

I hadn’t had one of these since I was a kid, and couldn’t resist buying one for my new apartment. The good: These things look pretty well made. There’s an inner bag made out of light polyester or some other synthetic. It zippers closed to keep the foam inside. The outer cover is removable, which wasn’t totally clear from the listing. This is really good, meaning you can machine wash the cover. It’s very easy to put the cover on. I’m not sure why reviews are complaining that it’s difficult to clean, or collects pet hair. It’s basically a floor pillow, not an armchair. Wash the pillowcase, folks. The bad: It’s not as full as I would like, nor as full as the photos lead you to believe. You’re not gonna sit on this thing like the woman in the pictures, you’re gonna slouch in it. I’d say the units pictured have roughly 1.5-1.75 times the stuffing that this one does. I think this may be due to the use of comfortable foam instead of styrofoam “beans”. The styro doesn’t really compress when you sit on it, just sloshes around. The foam compresses, so it needs to start out fuller to give the same support. This is some pretty squishy foam as well, softer that the traditional yellowish foam rubber. You can purchase styro beads on Amazon to re-fill bags, if you wanted yours fuller. I’m going to try shredding an old memory foam mattress topper to top this thing up. ... show more

Took a little longer than the Amazon delivery norm but well worth the wait. They arrived well packaged and VERY tightly shrink wrapped. I followed the instructions and some advice from prior customers. I had hubby separate the insert foam (ours didnt have any sharp pieces like some have advised) and periodically rough up the pillow as in roll them around, pick up and drop them, etc. Within approximately 5-6 hours these things gradually blew up. Ours appeared to have stabilized around the end of day two. But, hubby also stopped manhandling them then too. The four foot size fits my 6'5", 250 lbs hubby comfortably. I get lost in mine, like swallowed up! Based on other reviews, I may add additional filler in the future. But, know that the filler that comes with them does inflate to totally fill in the pillow case IF instructions are followed. VERY happy with the purchase! ... show more

I bought this in hopes it would be bigger then me, its not. BUT the comfort i felt more than makes up for it when in VR, add a pillow and blanket and you got a little cozy spot all in one to watch videos on. My first Bean bag chair and i already love it! 10/10, Price is worth it!

    • A pain to clean

When I first got this, I had no concept on how big it would actually be. Well I’m 5’3” and this could basically be a bed for me. I’ve moved twice and each time it has been a hassle trying to figure out where I can even fit this, but I honestly blame myself for not taking the time to think how big this was going to be when I bought it. It is SUPER comfortable though, me and my cats have taken many naps on it, and easily fluffs back to its full form. I do have quite a few downsides to this though. First, the inside of beanbag is loose shredded foam. It’s not enclosed in a second bag or anything, so if you spill a liquid onto the chair good freaking luck. I had to emergency wash the cover and when I opened it, all of the foam spilled out onto the living room. It was horrible. I had to pick up each individual foam and stuff it back in once I finished washing it. Had I not had my boyfriend there to help, I honestly don’t think it could be washed. Second, the zippers were broken when it arrived. Maybe that was a warning sign as the inside was foam, but I had to get pliers to try and open them and it was honestly a big fiasco just trying to open the dang bags alone. So, if you want to get this beanbag, be warned that it is HUGE and I wouldn’t allow any liquids to be on it just because washing it was really that hellish. Plus it’s quite heavy and awkward to hold, so REALLY think about this purchase. ... show more
