Bottoms are a bit thin (you can feel everything through the shoe as you walk) but I often had an insert in them so didn't notice too much. I cannot believe these boots are under $20.00. They look better in person and appear to be made well. I just got mine today, but I’m so far very impressed. *One minor note. I bought a brown color, that is faux leather, but the description says it’s faux suede.
