Don't get me wrong it be nice to have a hydraulic operated splitter but for firewood kindling did a wheel barrel in about an hour or so little bit of work to it but it does the job I would recommend the Firewood Kindling Splitter.

Put it on the ground and started splitting limbs measuring approximately 20 to 24"+. Wet limbs to boot!. Started splitting off chunks immediately using about a 2 pound hand maul. Love the product.

I like the size which is a little bigger than most of the log splitters I've looked at. I will be oiling it down after use to prevent rusting. Build look sturdy and durable.
