Don't get me wrong it be nice to have a hydraulic operated splitter but for firewood kindling did a wheel barrel in about an hour or so little bit of work to it but it does the job I would recommend the Firewood Kindling Splitter.

I like the size which is a little bigger than most of the log splitters I've looked at. I will be oiling it down after use to prevent rusting. Build look sturdy and durable.
