This media stand is an excellent organizer! In my case, it’ll be great for filing and storing binders and school supplies since my daughter is homeschooled. The drawer is perfect for hiding and storing items that can tend to look messy like extra pencils and scissors. My husband said it took a reasonable amount of time to build. Everything was straightforward, except when he had an extra piece that the directions did not address for this reason, I’m removing a star. It’s good quality for the price.

Another reminder to measure before ordering! This piece looks very nice. It seems fairly well made (for DIY furniture) and was really easy to put together. I like the combination of metal with wood for that farmhouse urban style. Unfortunately, the piece was too small for where we wanted it to go (garage) and we couldn't use it for mixed media because our record player is wider than the shelving unit. Our's also came with some scratches or pieces already coming apart on the front? We tried it in our son's bedroom, but it was too big to be an end table. It's just kind of an awkward size!

This storage rack/stand is nicely made and designed. It's relatively easy to assemble and the sizing, although on the small side, makes it very functional in smaller settings such as an apartment or tiny home but it also can serve its purposes in larger homes as well. The design is such that it allows for storing and holding game consoles, record players, DVD players, large records, etc. without taking up a lot of space and cluttering up your gaming or media room. The rack comes with everything needed to assemble it, including the tools, screws and instructions. The instructions are easy to follow although there are only pictures with no details in writing. But, if you follow the steps as displayed, you will have no problem putting this thing together. It took me about 30 minutes total to assemble it using just the tools provided with the unit. One thing to note, they do provide a few extra screws, and such so don't be alarmed if you have some pieces left over once you've completed your assembly. One thing I'm not too keen on is, there are two smaller shelves devoted solely to those large, 33-1/3 rpm record albums (LPs). Maybe some may still have some of those around but I'm not sure if you'd want to store them on/in this shelf unless you play them regularly. As for me, I'd rather use those two shelves for other items which you can easily do by either not assembling the "hoop" pieces to the shelves or removing them later. Just my personal preference, I do have a large collection of vintage LPs but they are in storage, and I never play them. The other thing I'm not very fond of is the drawer which comes with the rack, it's made of cloth and cardboard. Now, it is functional but due to its construction, you cannot store anything very heavy or a multitude of items which collectively would be very heavy as the drawer will not hold it. It's mainly for cables, chargers, maybe some headphones, gaming props, etc. I didn't deduct any stars because of this or the LP shelf storage because, you do have the option of either not using them or making your own drawer, etc. I do like that this rack doesn't take up a lot of space and is more inconspicuous than obtrusive. It would be great for those who live in an apartment or anyplace where space is limited. This would be a great item for the kids' room to store their game consoles or other toys. The design and size of the rack would even make it suitable for attaching to a wall, just drill a few holes in the structure and mount it to suit your tastes. Another thing I really like is it's actually held together with screws, not glued or stapled together - this rack is structurally well made! Overall, this is a neat little storage and display rack, very suitable for what it is designed for and pretty simple to assemble. Just understand, this thing is designed to hold a few things and not take up a lot of space - great for those smaller rooms and areas. And it's not made of cheap plastic either, which, to me, is a good thing. This rack/shelf is made of metal and wood - well, wood as in manufactured wood but it looks pretty good. I recommend it if you're looking for a rack such as this, it's a quality made product, has a modern, sleek look and should blend in well with your room's decor.

The shelf space is too narrow for actual AV components such as receiver, disc changer, record player etc. they photoshop things into their images that make them shelves look like they hold more than they actually do. Bummer shelf
