When I received my package and I opened it, these items were so thin and I thought flimsy I thought well this was a waste of money, but I went ahead and put them in. Anyway they have to be thin to fit. I don’t know what I was thinking they fit nicely you can barely even see them unless you’re looking for them on the pictures. I took the bottom plug has the piece of plastic. The top does not. I also submitted a picture showing how securely that plug sits in. I wish I had a picture before where it would like fall out if I got more than one wire and it would definitely kind of come completely have a plug I live in an apartment so I’m not willing to go and replace all the outlets. These things are amazing..genius idea..if you rent like i do you don't always wanna put alot of money into a home that will never be yours. My outlets were all loose..none of my plugs would stay in place. I would stretch out the plugs ( please dont do this its unsafe)or try and find other ways to get them to stay plugged in.it was frustrating my landlord wouldn't replace them and I didn't wanna replace them on my dime I saw a commercial for these little things so I took a chance and ordered them..you just pop them in the outlet and plug in your device and it's like I brand new outlet..plugs stay snuggly and securely..if you have issues with your outlets don't hesitate snug plugs will save your outlets without you having to spend tons of money and time replacing the outlets and covers.. ... show more

These are simple plastic strips bent into a U shape that fit into the live/neutral of US power socket. After fitting into socket [it is polarised i.e. only fit one way round into socket], it does make anything inserted into socket after very snug i.e. tighter to push in and pull out [as required]. However, as I intend using it with a portable USB charger in notoriously loose [due to high usage] sockets in public spaces e.g. coffee shops, I need it easier to remove [I have to use a blade to lever it out]. Made worse by being almost $1 each [or 50c if buy 25] - surely for this kind of simple plastic strip should get 100's for $10 to make this need moot [I don't intend to buy more once I use/lose them] TIA M ... show more

I plug in my bedside lamp under my bed, however, the outlet is quite loose and I have to keep crawling underneath to push it back in. Got these plugs in hopes to fix that and they do hold it in place very well! Started putting them in all my outlets and if you want to unplug something often I wouldn’t put these in for those since they do make it hard to remove, but that’s the point I guess. Live in apartment and so can't mess with light sockets. Most of them are "loose" and cirds fall out. Didnt know there was a cheap and easy solution until I came across these! They work great and they do glow in the dark, which is a fun twist to a product! These are so simple but work great!

SnugPlug is a simple device that keeps plugs tight into the receptacle. I had a multi-tap heavy duty extension cord and my tools were always coming unplugged anytime I moved the tool cord. After using the SnugPlug my tools stay in the receptacle even when pulling the tool cords. Really worked great.
