If you are looking at this review you more than likely wax your own skis/board or know someone who does. If so, you know that a good wax scraper is a must for this task. A scraper that is dull, or too small, makes a normally tedious task even more difficult. That is why I went for this 2-pack of large scrapers. The Pros - - My pack came with 2 scrapers. Part of scraping is keeping the edge of the scraper sharp. As you scrape against your skis/board the edge of the scraper dulls. Eventually they stop working well and you have to sharpen. Since these scrapers are larger and a multi-pack, I get more skis waxed between sharpenings. - The scrapers are thicker than my old scraper(the yellow one in the picture), which makes them nice and stiff. When scraping you put a fair amount of force into it. A nice stiff scraper that does not flex as much is a benefit. - These scrapers are 9" wide. I am not sure if that is wide enough to do a snow board in one pass (I don't think so), but it is great for the wider ski designs we ski on these days, especially powder skis. You have plenty of scraper width to get the whole ski each pass. Cons - - Honestly for what these are which is a piece of plastic with 4 long edges (two on each long side) to remove wax from your skis/board, I did not find any negatives with these scrapers. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to wax their own skis/board. ... show more

    • Good wax scrapers at a great price

Currently at 3 for 10 bucks, these are a no-brainer for anybody who waxes their skis or board at home. Having a wide, stiff, clean scraper with a good edge makes scraping wax (which I loathe) much easier. I try to keep mine pretty clean and lightly sand the edges every once in awhile, but it is really nice to have a couple extras around in case I'm doing a couple pairs of skis at once or if I forget to clean them off the last time I used them. ... show more

These are way too flexible to get more than a few uses each. I thought they would be similar in quality to a Swix or Wintersteiger scraper which I can get 20+ uses from. they are also dull out of the package. Cannot recommend for anyone wanting 20 uses from one scraper.

I'm used to Swix scrapers, but for the price these scrapers are a really good deal. Are they as sharp out of the box as Swix? No, but they are fine. If you have a manual (cheap investment) or electric scraper sharpener, it's not really a concern, but even out of the box, these do the job. A Swix scraper of this size is about $12. I like that these are wide than my skis. Some of the other ones are too narrow for a full pull down the width of the ski. It has the notch to clean your edges, and is flexible enough for a solid scrape. Excellent value for 3.

These are good basic scrapers. I use them for skis, but they are long enough so that they would be good for snowboards also. It's nice to have a set of scrapers because they tend to go dull on me and it's easier to resharpen a few of them at once.
