I don't think I've EVER purchased a product that hasn't been reviewed before this. However, considering I was able to buy this in Like New condition from Amazon and saved a lot of money, I took the gamble and it paid off!! I actually worked in a roto-mold factory just outside of Denver. We made coolers very much like these. They're not cheap to make when done right. I inspected my cooler when it arrived. Besides the tiny scratch on the top (which is why it was being sold in Like New condition) it was made very well and def stacks up against any competitor's products regarding quality of craftsmanship. I really appreciate the built-in drain on the side. I read about other similar products not having this and reviewers complaining, wishing theirs had one. The rubber latches are comfortable and latch securely. Each one has a convenient built-in bottle opener! Don't put your fingers inside the latches when securing them tho... It won't harm you but it's not very comfortable either! TESTING and PERFORMANCE: I pre-chilled the cooler by filling it with cool tap water and about 3lbs of ice from my freezer. The next morning I purchased a 10lb bag of ice and placed it inside after draining the chilled water out. I put my digital BBQ smoker temperature probe inside against the inside wall about 1" above the ice and shut and sealed the lid. The ice lasted 4 days and the inside stayed cool for 5 days. During the testing ther inside temp stayed around 34° in the shade and 38° in direct sunlight. (Note: the temp probe rested against the side wall that was exposed to the direct sunlight and was never in contact with the ice itself!) During the testing, I placed the cooler directly in the sun during the days. Outside surface temps of the beige/tan cooler reached up to 120°. White coolers will probably stay a little cooler as they won't attract as much heat. Ambient temps were between 70° during the day and 62° at night (I brought the cooler inside my temperature controlled garage). Most people won't placer their cooler in direct sun light however, though during summer time, admittedly, average ambient daytime temps will be much higher. I'm confident, had I put more ice or other pre-chilled items (like beer) into the cooler to fill up the entire avail capacity, it would have lasted another 2 days. This small cooler will easily hold 20lbs (2bags) of ice. I opened and closed the cooler a few times each day during the testing period trying to simulate a "real-world" experience. A final measurement of the melted ice water on the 6th day read 58°. I know some ppl use these types of coolers just to keep ice in to replace ice that has melted in their regular use coolers. If one were to place 2 bags is ice in this cooler and keep it closed and out of the direct sunlight, the ice would probably last 7 days and still be usable. Who knows...maybe I'll put it through this type of test and update my review! Buy thi$ cooler with confidence and $ave your green-back$ for your recreational activitie$!

The media could not be loaded. I have been looking for the perfect camp cooler! Ive watched all the youtube vids and the yeti is no better than this cooler. This cooler seems sturdy and durable. Some people have said it is heavy and it is heavier than a regular non roto cooler. I recieved this 26qt cooler for 115$ as opposed to a Yeti 20qt for 199$. Keeps ice solid forever! Almost.... but plenty long. Perfect size for my ford focus hatchback and the extra 6qt give me just enough extra room for all my camp food! So far so good!! Will update after more rigorous use. Enjoy!

The product arrived on the day they said it would; extremely sturdy, keeps food and drinks cold for days, the cooler was fastened to my ATV bed using the rope eyelets it came with and functioned properly on the >100 mile offroad trip I took yesterday, in >95F degree weather. The trip was dusty - dirty - hot - sever vibration and shock side to side through miles rough terrain; the cooler worked prefectly and showed no signs of wear or leakage.

I just used it for the first time, after 3 days the water bottles that I had in it for work where @ 61° it was in the back of my truck and in my non air conditioned garage the whole time. The weather was not bad for texas so I looked it up and it was 73°-86° out. Had a yeti 20q in the past and its very comparable in quality but the yeti was too small and costs more. If you want better results over time with any ice chest you need a larger size filled with more ice. The 26q Snowball is well priced its about the best bang for your buck. Seriously don't buy anything smaller even the yeti is not worth it because you can't fit more than a few drinks inside especially with ice this one fits most of a whole case of water and a whole bag of ice.

Bought this to have a smaller cooler. Was sceptical at first so I tested with a 8 lb bag of ice. We used ice from the cooler for the first 3 days and on day 5 still had a few cubes. I’m satisfied.

I use this to keep extra items cold such as drinks since I live in a RV with a small, electric only refrigerator. I find it holds ice in a semi frozen state for two days, by day three I need to dump it although there is still some ice remaining. I would say I get into it about 3-4 times a day which of course lets out cold air. It is well built. Im hoping the silicone like straps that keep the lid closed maintain their stretchability to keep the door shut and dont wear over time but it is too soon to tell as I have only owned this a couple of months. I feel like this is a good value for my money and didn't spend too much for the 'big brand' names. I would recommend this cooler.
