My husband and I are scuba divers and it seems criminal to hand your child junky gear when you know what is out there. We've always sought out the quality items and so that the kids were not discouraged from water sports because of bad equipment. Our youngest daughter has a really nice set but it is always in the wrong place when we need it - on the boat when we're beach by land or visa versa and we wanted to pick up a second set that was more cost effective but still nice. This did the trick and seems to work nearly as well as the name-brand stuff that we had to search the world over for to find in her little size. If there is a difference, she doesn't seem to notice it. You will notice the difference in the price (in a good way) and this is a great little set to keep your little person interested in being under the water. Don't buy the hobby-killer junk - this will get them in the water swimming confidently with decent equipment.

I ordered the S/M for my 5year old son. Fits him perfectly! Fits my 8yr old daughter as well. Love how the flippers are adjustable. He had a previous snorkel that was without a floating ball that allowed water to get in it…not with this one! He loves that he can go under water and swim like a fish! Seems well built with a very reasonable price point. Exceeded my expectations and highly recommended for your little ones!

Recently took this on a cruise to the Bahamas for my 10yo nephew's 1st snorkeling experience and he absolutely loved it! The fins were way too small for his big feet- the front part only covered about 1/3 of his feet and the straps to the back of the ankle barely slid up on the loosest hole. That said he was still able to use them (and not lose either) so it was fine. It also took him some time to get used to breathing through his mouth and adjust the mask so water didn't get in but I think that's the case with most snorkeling gear (and newbies).

This set worked well for my son. They seemed to seal good against his face and the snorkel was ok, he struggled on the concept of a snorkel a little bit but I’m sure it will take some getting used to lol. They had plenty of adjustment so our friend’s 5 year old tried them out as well. They were a good deal and an even better learning experience for our children!

My 8 year old had them for one day. The flippers are not fully rubber, and they cracked at the weakest point around the end of the "shoe" area, causing one of the flippers to be wobbly when met with resistance in the water. Super glue didn't fix the crack.
