I've bought mask after mask... ones with and without snorkels from both big outlets (ie Walmart) as well as specialty stores thinking that they would stock only the best. I was very impressed at how well this set is made. It is comfortable and works well. Looking forward to taking it on our yearly camping trip down at the lake.

Love the bendable section. It really helps orient the snorkel properly without kinking. The glass is clear and the middle section is unobstructed which gives you a better view of what's all in front of you. A better value if this came with fins but overall, it's good.

I really like the valves on the snorkel tube. You can blow out the bottom of the tube while still underwater by blocking the top and then blowing into the tube. Also, the top has a float valve that blocks water from entering the tube when fully submerged. One thing I'm not used to, but really like, is the quick-detach connector between the mask and tube. It wasn't attached when I received it, which allow you to place the snorkel tube on either side of your mask. The mask straps tighten pretty easily merely by pulling the tail. To loosen, you need to squeeze the clasp.

The places/lakes to go swimming around my home are usually murky and filled with algae. I did end up finding a place to try snorkeling where you could see the bottom of the lake, hahaha! It shouldn't be that difficult to find clean water, but it is what it is. I also used a flotation device, but I still dunked. Let me tell you how much I appreciate the snorkel that blocks any water from coming in! Back in the day, I learned to snorkel in gym class, and we had the snorkels that would be hollow from the end into your mouth. They were dangerous too. I really like this kind! The face mask was comfortable until I had to take it off and on repeatedly, but that would happen with any plastic or vinyl material if you have sensitive skin. Not to mention the water quality. I like the 180 view, but I think it would dazzle more in Florida! I don't like things sneaking up on me.

As an infrequent beach visitor, I needed these for a recent beach vacation. I needed them to use in shallow water, not for serious deep dives. PROS: - sharp looking, modern set - excellent vision when wearing above and below water line - adjustable strap worked easily to fit my large head - good color in lenses filters some sunlight - provided net bag is a nice touch, allowing easy transport between condo and beach CONS: - like most masks, the water leaks in via my moustache; vaseline is supposed to seal the fit, but only slightly and for a short time (this isn't a problem that's isolated to this mask)

I bought this snorkel set and was very pleased with it. I use my snorkel daily in my swimming pool for exercise. It started leaking a couple days ago and now as soon as I go under the water, it leaks really bad. I came on here to do a return, but it is 3 days past my 30 day return eligibility. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I store my snorkel in a safe, dry place and am very gentle in how I use it. There is no reason it should be leaking already.
