This snorkel mask is way better than regular goggles. Keeps water out of your eyes really well and the lens is super clear - made me realize my "crystal clear" pool wasn't as clean as I thought from the outside! The dry top feature on the tube works like it should. The little ball that closes off airflow when you go underwater can be startling at first, but you get used to it. It definitely keeps water from going down the tube. Overall I like this feature. Setup takes some patience. The clip that attaches the snorkel to the mask isn't obvious - you have to pinch the two tabs to release it (no clear instructions included). Getting the mouthpiece positioned right so it's not constantly trying to pull out of your mouth takes some adjusting, but once you dial it in, it's comfortable. Fair warning for guys with facial hair: the nose seal doesn't work well with a mustache. I usually got water leaks around the nose area, that always happened around the hair. You can almost get a good seal if you position it just right, but then when you get swimming, the movement ends up shifting it and water comes in. I frequently had to come up to let water out of that part. The eye part though stayed dry thanks to the separate seal design. If you don't have facial hair, I suspect you won't have this issue. For the price, it's a solid buy. Just plan on spending a few minutes getting everything fitted properly before your first real use. ... show more

First off, this set is an absolute steal for the quality you get. I pulled the goggles straight out of the package, slapped them on my face without even using the back strap (rookie move), and instantly had a what-have-I-done moment. The seal was so good, I genuinely wondered if I'd have to live my life as a part-time sea creature. I have a massive noggin—think watermelon on steroids—and these goggles sealed like they were molded for my majestic melon. Once I remembered to wet the inside like you're supposed to, they stayed fog-free at my neighborhood pool and were crystal clear. The snorkel snapped onto the goggles with ease, and I love that I can attach it after putting the goggles on—no awkward snorkel jousting required. The snorkel itself is a champ. No water got in, and the blowout valve worked like a charm. The silicone? Chef’s kiss. Super pliable, super comfy, and seals so tight I could probably use these in a vacuum chamber. Bonus: My daughter was there for my inaugural test run and witnessed my panicked struggle to pry them off my face. She laughed so hard she nearly fell on the floor. Nothing like nearly suffocating in front of your kid to really test gear durability and family bonds. This snorkel set does what it is supposed to do. It is of reasonable, but not excellent quality. The rubbery parts are a little stiff. As a result the seal around the mask is not as tight and consistent as it should be. I ordered this for my son-in-law to use on a trip to Hawaii. He used the set successfully when snorkeling from the shore, but did say that water was often getting into his mask, because the seal could be better. When we went on snorkel tours on boats, my son-in-law opted to use the snorkel and mask provided by the snorkel tour instead of using this mask and snorkel combo. ... show more

To be clear, I am a beginner in the snorkeling world, but this was exactly what I needed. I purchased a couple big name brand snorkels and masks for my kids. I was a little concerned mine wouldn’t perform as well. To my surprise, the mask actually outperformed the big brand. No fogging at all for me. I can’t say the same for them. I bought this snorkel set for a recent trip and am so glad I did! The anti-leak feature is legit—no water got in the goggles or the mouthpiece, even when fully submerged underwater. The lens didn’t fog up and the wide view was awesome. I did notice some scratches on the glass after repeated use, but underwater they weren’t visible at all and the view remained crystal clear. I like that it came with a mesh bag that allowed it to easily dry during transport. My only complaint is that I wish it came with instructions. As a beginner, I had no idea how to put the two pieces together. But if you have snorkeled before, it’s probably pretty intuitive.
