The web page only mentions adult snorkeling, but the label on the package shows size small. Luckily, it still fits, though the mask does look small. I tested it in the swimming pool and there’s no leak.

This is not an adult snorkeling mask, it is for kids. A small adult might be able to wear the mask. The mask fits and doesn't leak, but of course, the glass isn't clear. It works well for kids who just want a weekend toy to use in the pool or for the occasional weekend snorkeling adventure.

My daughter is a swimmer but still likes to have her nose guarded. This snorkel set was perfect for her. The strap was easy to manipulate and good suction. It is well made and she loves the color.

These are the same type of scuba equipment that you'll find at the beach, but at a third of the price. THe quality is the same as what you'll find at the Quincayas, but now you'll have time to rinse and test them before you get to your destination. The masks fit comfortably and have an anti-fog coating which will help a ton in high humidity. Note that this is a coating, and you can purchase a bottle of it to reapply it later to this (and many other things) when it wears off. The snorkle functions as promised, with a simple foam ball serving as a valve to prevent water from entering the breathing tube. I especially like the clarity of the facemask, as sometimes the ones you buy at the beach show a little wear and tear which gets in the way. Keep in mind that this is a 2-pack snorkling system, which makes it an amazing value. One mask is black and the other white. The missing star is because this is an older style snorkling gear meaning that there's no place to mount anything else like a camera or other snorkling accessories.

I’m a certified SCUBA diver and have trained people in mask fins and snorkel use for over 30 years. This is an average mask. Snorkel is okay but lacking. PROS: * Soft, pliable facemask * Wide headstrap that is soft and comfortable to wear * Tempered glass * Antifog coating * Purge valve on snorkel CONS: * Sidewalls of mask are black plastic and block peripheral view. Clear masks offer a much wider field of vision. Advertising claims 180 degree view but the reaility is you lose about 30 degrees of view from your peripheral vision from each side of the mask. The view is akin to cupping your hands and putting the thumb side against your temples. The rest of your hand blocks some of the peripheral vision. If you move your eyes to look left or right, you just see more of your hand. The same occurs while wearing the mask. WIth masks that are clear or that wrap around more, you don’t lose this peripheral vision. This can be a safety issue as you detect motion with peripheral vision — so think a shark coming by from the side. * Mask lacks purge valve. If water gets in, while underwater user must know how to clear mask the old fashioned way (tip and exhale through nose). * Snorkel lacks a bright colored or reflective strip at the top. Having it all black makes it more difficult to spot in the water. Overall a decent combo, paritcularly for the casual user. I wouldn’t recommend this for scuba diving. If using it for snorkeling, I’d recommend some reflective tape toward the top of the snorkel (below the vents) or a small strip at top.

Even though our lake is still too cold for swimming, I wanted to get a new snorkel/goggle set to replace the one that has to be 15 years old and deteriorating. When it arrived I was at first worried the mask would be too small for my face (I am 6'4 and 235 with a noggin on the larger side), but it turns out to fit perfectly! The mask and snorkel come separately packed, so you will need to remove the head strap in order to pass it through the holder on the snorkel. Standard for any set actually. The gasket material around the mask is quite soft and pliable. There's a slight but not atypical odor when first opening, but that will dissipate. Happy with my purchase.
