I did not like struggling to try and get this thick belt installed on my mower. This belt is much thicker than the original belt and would not seat fully in the pulleys making the belt to tight which wouldn't allow me to disengage the blade or put the mower in neutral. After all that time installing this belt I had to take it off and will now have to send it back. The distributer says it fits all 28" mowers, it doesn't fit mine. ... show more

    • Good snapper replacement belt
My old belt was not broken but it was coming apart and was well worn. This new belt appeared to be longer than the old but after installing it, it fit just right. I thought I'd have to adjust the frame length to make it fit. The frame is adjustable (under the seat) in case the belt doesn't quite fit. ... show more

    • Perfect for my old Snapper handlebar riding mower.
This belt seems sturdy and fit perfectly on my old Snapper. There are good videos out there to show how to install it. I used the technique of lifting the mower up to sit on it's back end as shown in some of the videos. If you try that be sure the gas cap vent is closed and the gas line is shut off.
