This is a terrific little scooter - it has decent speed and safety controls, has plenty of get-up-and-go power, and it offers decent range, overall. I do wish the scooter had a little more battery life between charges, but so far it has met our needs well enough. Also, I could give or take the LED lighting feature, but it does have some options on it. That makes it a little less noticeable, which is a good thing for people who aren't keen on that feature (like me). For its intended purpose and audience, this scooter checks a lot of boxes. A gift for a 12-year old, who loved this scooter's color, lights, and look, and was thrilled to receive it. It was admired by friends her age and younger, too, and everyone (under 132 pounds) had to try it out. They quickly got the hang of getting it rolling before engaging the motor, and enjoyed the ride. It's not a really fast scooter, though its speedometer is a nice touch: 7 or 8 mph seems to be its standard speed, though they tell me it feels much faster than that when you're riding! The scooter was nicely packaged, arrived without a scratch, and the only setup is a single bolt through the handlebars, and for which a hex wrench is provided. Ours arrived fully charged from the factory. It hasn't yet been down to low battery before recharging, so I'm unsure how long to expect the battery to last. The adjustable-height vertical tube folds down flat with a single lever and serves as the handle for carrying the scooter, light enough for a child to carry in one hand, and compact enough to store in the trunk or on the seat of a car, even to carry easily on mass transit. A solidly-built and relatively light-weight children's electric scooter with quite a few features, and a good value. ... show more
