I don't leave very many reviews, but I felt I should with this comforter. First, let me say I bought no less than 6 different comforters to find the green I was looking for for my teen daughter's room. Some were low quality, too olive, too faded, or too bright. This is a good dark green with blue tones, so it doesn't hit you in the face when you see it. My photo shows it a little lighter than it is in real life. The back side is a little darker than the front, but I think that's just because of the difference in texture. The back is a very soft fleece, and the front is like rabbit fur. It is very soft. In the past, when I've had things with this type of fabric, it's lost its softness after its first wash and dry. It was important to me that this be machine washable and dry in the dryer. It is a good, heavy comforter with padding in between the two outer fabrics, so it would take forever to line-dry, and I don't like the feeling of line-dried blankets. I washed and dried the shams first as an experiment to see how they would turn out. They did great, so I washed and dried the comforter, and it did not change the softness of the "fur" at all. I washed it in a warm setting and dried it on extra low. It did take two hours of drying with 6 wool balls and me fluffing it several times throughout the process, but it came out perfectly. Lastly, I am showing the amount of lint that came off of it after its first wash and dry (which I did before using it). When I opened the package, I was happy that tons of lint and fluff didn't come out with the comforter. The lint in my hand only covered about 15% of the lint screen, which I'm shocked at. Normally, new items, especially fuzzy things, put off a lot of lint for the first few washes and drys. This was nothing. I am super impressed with the quality of this comforter, and I think my daughter will love it.

This comforter is so soft. It keeps you warm but not overheating like some I have tried. My daughter has slept in her own bed since we got it. It's a good price, correct size for the bed, doesn't wrinkle, easy to wash (washed multiple times), great durability, and medium weight. Win, win!

This is even better than I expected. This blanket is extremely heavy. If you are claustrophobic with heavy blankets, it isn't for you. However, this is luxurious, so soft and very warm. One side has the ribbed "fur" feel, which you almost cannot stop running your hands over it like there's a bunny or a puppy in your lap. The other side is a mix that i could only describe as a combination of velvet and satin. It isn't ultra shiny, but not not combination textured either. The perfect mix against your skin. The price point is unbeatable, especially when you catch a sale. Durability, I would rate as a 9. It picks up dirt easily. But, it washes right off. It is oversized and generous. I ordered a Queen. It came with 2 pillow shams and it more than covers my bulky overstuffed and blanketed bed.. Enjoy!!!
