One of my mirrors failed to adjust up or down. This was especially bothersome when back a trailer down the driveway. I looked for a replacement motor but nothing was available. When I saw these two mirror replacements that were the same price (or less) than most of the single mirrors, I decided to replace them both. I was really pleased with the ability to rotate the mirrors into a verticle position to help with backing. The install is very easy and took about 30 minutes for each side. The only problem that I have had, and it is for me a real disappointment, the mirrors do not automatically rotate downward when backing! I went through the settings and made sure that this option was selected, and it was. The mirrors do not have this function feature. I am still disappointed, but I will have to get over it. They look identical to the the factory mirrors, and fit perfectly. ... show more

After a recent hail storm, I needed a new set of mirrors on my Ram 1500 and found these to be exactly what I needed. Before installing, I did watch a few quick videos of how to pop the door panel off to familiarize myself with a few of the motions. I would highly suggest watching a video before attempting the swap. There are a couple good tips/tricks to make the process go smoothly. The tow mirrors were really easy to install and overall took about an hour for both.. These particular set of mirrors were completely plug and play and look great on the truck. I do have a suggestion for future installers though. **The bottom left stud will need to be shaved down or partially cut off or else you will damage the interior of your door jamb** I read in another review about this and they were right. I have attached a picture to show which one. I finished the install and then used a oscillating saw to cut the tip of the stud off. ... show more

This is the second pair of Tow mirrors I’ve had to purchase for my 2016 ram 1500. The first pair made by a different company. The glass was like Funhouse glass, absolutely garbage and the ambient air sensor quit working after only six months and that caused a check engine code to come up on the truck. I then got these mirrors. They were a bit more expensive and had turn signals so I thought I would splurge for a nicer set. Didn’t know I would have to pay $80 at the dealership after the fact to get them to program the truck to recognize the turn signals as my truck didn’t come factory with them. That’s not the point I want to make though. My first complaint is obviously the mirrors them self do not look very good. They are not clear, almost foggy looking. My second complaint. Is that before you install them at least for my truck you have to grind down the bolts on the mirror where it attaches to the door frame or else the bolts will scratch your paint and put a big dent in your door frame I of course didn’t know this and now have missing paint and a big dent in the frame which will rust eventually if I don’t get it covered up. And my last complaint, but certainly not the least of my worries (based on previous experience with other mirrors) is that the ambient air temperature sensor consistently reads 10° hotter than the actual ambient air temperature so I know it’s only a matter of time before this sensor destroys itself, and then I need to buy new mirrors again. in summary I would say just say spend the extra money and buy the OEM parts and you won’t have to continue replacing these things every year. ... show more
