  • Looks great and it got to me fast.
I was recently gifted a Smittybuilt XRC9.5 winch, looked on Amazon and was able to find a perfect winch cover for it, price was great, looks very durable, but haven't had it long enough to see how it will hold up to the weather.

Awesome Cover unfortunately It will not fit SmittyBilts bigger Winches that they make. (15,500, and 17,500) In its defense it was Not advertised as being able to do so. The one bad thing is SmittyBilt doesn't make a cover to fit their larger Winches. Kinda Lame if you ask me.

  • Hard to tie from backside but durable and looks great
The media could not be loaded. I used this for my Smittybilt winch on my 2015 Wrangler Willys JK Unlimited, looks great, is durable, I have had no issues on interstate or other. I just took the string it comes with tied together in middle put one end through little latch ball then ran through eyelets all the way around put other end in pull tab, when pull ball tab was snug then tied a bow and has been good ever since! Or go to hardware store and make your own bungee setup. ... show more

  • Worth it but difficult to install
Good quality material. It fits good but getting it on was a little frustrating but worth it. The way the straps are aligned made it impossible for it to fit over the wench. Had to untie the drawstrings and re feed them so it could go over the wench and then properly tighten. Unless I missed something it was a bit difficult. But fits snug and has stayed in place! ... show more

  • It works
I switched my winch line over to synthetic and bought this to make sure that the line stays out of the sun. My main complaint would be how it is secured. This cover would work great for a winch on the front of a car trailer. I have a toyota pickup with a trailgear bumper, the winch fits very snug to the front of the bumper and the grille so getting this cover on is a challenge. I can’t complain to much because the material seems like it’s a very good quality. I debated on buying a cheap cover with an elastic band but they all seemed to cheap for me. At the end of the day, this cover will do it’s job it’s just difficult to get on and off for a winch that is on a vehicle. ... show more

  • Unable to install on XRC 9.5k
This is supposed to be compatible with all Smittybilt XRC winches, but for some reason it's not possible to install on an XRC 9.5k. I don't see how it would be possible to install on any winch, for that matter. It is big enough to fit over the winch, but the design of it seems to prevent installation at all. Along the bottom, there are four grommets front and rear that allow a quick-cinch strap to feed through, but this very feature means that it's not possible for the winch cover to go over any winch. I spent about 20 minutes trying to install one end and then somehow pull the quick-cinchs over and around the other side, but it's simply not possible. Failing that, I removed the quick-cinch and then it will of course fit over, but then it is not possible to reinstall the cinches under the winch due to the winch actually being mounted to a vehicle. If there is a way to install it, it's not obvious, and there are no included instructions to tell you how to do it. If you look at the picture of this winch that is installed on any vehicle, you can clearly see that the winch is blocking the holes where those quick-cinch straps would even go. It would take longer to remove and reinstall this cover than it would actually take to use it to winch a vehicle. NO SALE. ... show more

  • Excellent
Great cover my last one made it 6 years in a area where it gets -50 in the winter and 90+ in the summer. So value for money feel like its well worth it.
