I will not purchase teas like this outside of their direct website again. This batch was poorly made, with the either teabag ripping or leaving a sticky residue upon removal of the tea tag. I’ve never experienced that with Smith teas before. Bummer because I purchase in bulk.

This is a substantially flavored tea. Full bodied with a strong aroma. It is powerful and if you steep it for more than 4-5 minutes, it will be undrinkable! And it is a one use tea bag. It releases its brew and then it is done! It will also stain your tea mugs and I wouldn't use it in good china. But the dishwasher will clear it up with your basic coffee type mug. It makes other teas taste just wan.
