It came in on a Monday and they wear a tie and long-sleeved white shirt on Tuesdays at their school. We tested the fit Monday night and it was perfect for him. We simply unclipped the plastic buckle, adjusted the neck strap according to his neck which was all the way to minimum setting then reattached the buckle. It's made of polyester material so it's easy to clean and doesn't get wrinkled--very low maintenance. This necktie is definitely way better than the clip-on tie that he was using which easily gets unclipped and comes off. It's hard for him to put it back on when he's in school. With this one, it's not coming off unless the tie gets accidently stuck and tugged. At 9.99 when I ordered it, it brings excellent value for the cost, product quality and ease of wear for a young elementary school student. ... show more

This tie is adorable. My grandson loves it. He likes that it's already re-tied in the back so he doesn't have to learn how to tie a tie. The color is his favorite --- red.
