This was my first time skiing, and I wanted a good quality helmet that matched my ski jacket, so I went with this for the color scheme and brand. Not only was it very comfortable and sturdy, but it really kept my head warm in very cold conditions. I have a pretty big head and the large fit me well, as measured according to the size guide. The flaps on the sides are, as mentioned, very warm and I usually didn't even need any other cover on my head. I did fall a lot learning and this really held up to any impact on my head. Really recommended, for looks, comfort and safety.

Sure I can get a cheaper helmet. This helmet isn’t crazy in price and definitely worth the little extra over some of the competitors. Top quality isn’t cheap and if you get a cheap helmet in my opinion they never look good on my head. If I like the way I look in a helmet I’m much more likely to wear and want to wear my helmet.

This helmet has to factor as one of the best equipment buys we made in the family. My wife and daughter were beginners at snowboarding last year and this year saw them advance to intermediate levels of ability. It will come as no surprise that they have had their fare share of tumbles and one in particular was life threateningly scary for my wife. The helmet is the only reason why she was able to catch her breath and then continue after a massive multiple flip stack on packed (hard) snow. There wasn't a single scratch on the helmet and the piste control said that it was the only reason she was not making her way to the nearest trauma centre in a helicopter. I myself managed to give myself a good hiding in the snowboard park after an attempt over the quarter pipe saw me land face down with my forehead greeting the snow first. Again, I am sure that this brand of helmet deserves all the credit. The outer material is extremely durable, the lining is very comfortable and the removable ear muffs are most welcoming when hit with a freezing gust if wind. The colour options mean that there is something out there for everyone and the sizes meet the requirements of all. I would not hesitate to recommend this helmet to anyone seeking to have fun with safety in mind. A great all-round performer made of durable and reliable materials at a great price point.

Great helmet, and its extremely reasonably priced. I haven't had to speak to its protection capabilities yet(knock on wood), but its very comfortable and is warm on cold days, and isnt too hot on warm days. got a large, which was just big enough to fit my head, and i can still fit a winter hat underneath, that was an important thing for me. feels very secure on your head, without being tight around your neck with the strap. love the conversion possibility from winter-spring sports. got the matte graphite color, and i think it really is sharpe. black helmets are the most popular, and white could get dirty very easily, so the grapite was my choice, real stylish.

The OD green color added a nice aesthetic touch to the helmet. Number of vents on the helmet were adequate. Strap is removable for wash. Only 4 stars due to the following: Least like about the helmet is the price even though it was on sale; Price for the brand name I reckon. Additionally, had to figure out how to adjust size but was able to do so by pulling the pointed tab on the occipital portion of the head strap and pushing the tab back into another hole on the foam inside the helmet. This particular helmet DOES NOT adjust using a wheel knob on the inner rear of the head strap. Secure fit nonetheless. Had bought another helmet for less price of which the look, feel, contour design and foam protection were the same except for the vent designs and the presence of a size adjusting rear occipital wheel knob: This brand name helmet appears manufactured from the same factory in China as my lesser priced 2 in 1 use helmet previously purchased.

I really like this helmet. It’s really comfortable. It fits my head well, with no areas of pain or discomfort. And my head stayed cool even snowboarding in 60 degree weather! The part that covers the ears is pretty thick, so it muffles sound a bit, but you can actually take out some of that stuffing. I haven’t tried this yet, but I love that I have the option to remove some of the stuffing in The ears and back of the neck too. I have a fairly small head and got the size small (I think it’s a unisex helmet, but I am a women) and it fits snug but not tight. It’s perfect!
