Honestly was not expecting this product to be any good but was pleasantly surprised. We bought this because we needed something besides our OXO set (which hasn’t held up as well as these) These being silicone the spatula is a little flimsy on the tip. They are honestly really nice though. We accidentally washed one in the dishwasher and the wood handle dried out and feels rough now. I think this was our own fault but they definitely aren’t dishwasher safe.

I too have had the issue with the wood fading after washing but people don’t understand that you don’t want a clear coat on cooking utensils. You don’t want those chemicals getting into your food!!! When you buy these order some bees wax or any food safe oil and simply apply as needed. I put boiled linseed oil on mine like I put on my custom knives and I’ve yet to had to re apply.

They work well but are definitely not dishwasher safe. If you put them in the dishwasher the varnish on the handle comes right off. It does say this in the description but I didn't read close enough. The only other complaint I have is that the handle on the whisk fell off after one use, nothing a little glue can't fix though. Overall, I recommend the product; just make sure to HANDWASH!
