Great Rechargable Controller Battery
I purchased this as a replacement for controller batteries that are several years old and no longer charging. I also wanted longer use between charges. This charger and batteries and working very well. So far, my only complaint is that I cannot buy a couple more battery packs without buying another charger. The batteries charge just fine. They are slightly snug in the controller. The life of the charge is excellent. I find them lasting at least 3 times longer than my older batteries that hold half the charge. Nice! The charging time is fine. I actually find that fast charging is harder on the batteries so I like how this charges as well. If you are looking for controller batteries for XBox that last longer than most, this is it. I thought the price was very fair as well. ... show more

Gamers, stop wasting money on AA batteries!
Get your gaming thumbs ready, cause these batteries are the real deal. They take about 6-7 hours to charge initially and that is the only negative. I use a cell phone charger with the included usb cable to charge the batteries. You can attach the included charge cable to your xbox one to charge or other usb port. Not too hard to figure out how to insert the batteries, there are green arrows "pointing" the way. If you need help, the directions are ok but the amazon photos make it very clear how the batteries align in the controller. The batteries work with any xbox one, xbox S, and xbox elite controller. I play maybe 1-2 hours a day and I have yet to recharge the batteries. The charge level has decreased but I would estimate 25-30 hours of game time per battery. Also, you can't charge the battery while its in the controller, the battery must be removed and charged separately. The charge level does show up in the xbox one dasboard. No messy cables attached to your controller, no chargers laying around cluttering things up. These battery packs remind me of the old school xbox 360 battery charger that was neat, had a small footprint and simply worked. 5 stars and you can buy the two battery pack version if you prefer. Also, I have not been given any free product or compensation in exchange for my review. Now quit reading, and game already! Update 9/2/18: These batteries still hold a great charge! I game 1-2 hours a day and I recharge one battery pack every 7-10 days! ... show more

A Viable alternative to AA and Microsoft Plug and Play kits
I bought these to run in 2 controllers with a spare as a backup. My one beef is the size of the + and - on the packs and on the charge. At my age my eyes are faltering some and these markings are tiny. There's no reason to not make them massive. Especially mid game when you controller dies and you need a quick swap. It's never easy when it needs to be. Smatree, MAKE YOU + and - WAAAAAY Bigger. Battery life and durability will be judged at 1 year mark. Priced at the equivalent of 100 AA Basics It will be 1 year to see the return on investment. UPDATE: 1 year in and they are doing great! I'm a head of the game on savings over AA. I'm used to the battery orientation in the charger and controller so I'm over the small +/-. The 3 pack is now $24 instead of $32. I recommend! ... show more

Great replacement for Xbox controller batteries
I purchased these batteries seeking a viable replacement from the standard Xbox One controllers. I really like that I no longer have to connect the controllers via cable or set them on docking stations to ensure a battery will charge. The charger has a very short usb plug that works on the side port of the xbox. I pop the batteries in and let them charge until the light is green, then remove them from the charger for storage. I initially only bought one set to see how the life of the battery would work. After a full charge, I ground out near 18 hours of play time before a new charge was required. The kids burn through batteries faster than I do, so I ended up purchasing another set and now have a total of 5 battery packs that operate in rotation. Anyone that is looking for a viable replacement at a fraction of the costs of standard batteries should give this a go. I have charged my batteries a total of 3 times now and have had no reduction of play time on each pack. For the costs and the benefits of not having to deal with charging cables that break and controller stands that have to be placed just right to charge, this is a very sound product worthy of purchasing. ... show more

First let me start by saying that these are really awesome to have! It feels so great not having to purchase batteries anymore that will just die out anyway, and then having to waste more money for more batteries that will end up dying, and so on. My point is: why waste money on batteries that you can only use for so long? Batteries can get expensive. Do yourself a favor and invest in these batteries---literally a one time buy for tons and tons of uses! It has literally everything you need---the charging cable, battery charger, and batteries. They come packed very neatly in a small box. I was able to use one of the batteries straight out of the box (they were charged!) and I threw the other 2 batteries in the charger that they include. That way, I will have my other batteries on hand and charged/ready to go when needed. Honestly I have been using this same battery since I got the package (2 days ago) and it is still juiced up! Trust me, stop wasting money on batteries that will just die. Invest in this product! You will not be disappointed. Your wallet will thank you in the long run. ... show more

Works like new 4 years later!!
I’m making this review after buying the item in 2021 because I’m so surprised that they’re still working great! Holds charge well and charges decently quick. Hell yeah thanks for making a good quality product that still works 4 years later.

Remain to be great after many cycles
These things have been on and off chargers for awhile now, and they still hold a long charge. Very solid for the price. Do note though, we never leave the batteries on the charger once they are charged. We typically take it off to sit outside the charger, as this is far better for their longevity.
