This is a very nice little case, good quality and the little foldable velcro peice that comes with it raise the backside of my laptop to allow better air circulation which is needed and very helpful because the laptop i recently purchesed is known for running on the hot side and this helps with cooling efficiency a ton. Matrial on the iside is nice and soft/fuzzy but for warming it is definitely a dust/crum magnet lol. a little on the pricey side and i wish they had another option for one with maybe a couple pockets on the outside so i could keep my mouse/possibly charger but i still like it a lot ... show more

It will get up to temp to melt solder but it drops in temperature frequently. I was trying to clean up a circuit board with it and desoldering whick and it would start to melt and work then it would drop in temp and rapidly cool causing the iron and whick to stick to the board (which is tbe last thing you want happening) .Not sure if it'd the station itself or just the soldering iron that is faulty but all in all for the price it'll work for simple soldering.

Pricey hard shell. Seems to be well made, but ZERO room for anything except your Chromebook. You'll have to stash your ac adapter and accessories somewhere else for travel.
