    • Very long lasting, very waterproof!
I loved the non-waterproof version of this, so I thought I would try it out...and wow, it's intense. It feels semi-permanent during the day, and it lasts. It is DEFINITELY waterproof. So much that my makeup remover doesn't seem to take it off very easily. It has a tendency to come off the stick a little clumpy, but if you scrape off the excess on the tube before putting it on, it's great. I highly recommend this if you're going to be sweating all day, swimming, or even if you know it may be an emotional day with tears. I gave 4 stars because it is difficult to take off, but it definitely does its job! ... show more

I've been using this mascara for about a year. Tried switching back to a cheaper high-rated drugstore waterproof mascara and immediately could tell the difference. The Smashbox mascara is VERY waterproof, makes my lashes look longer and more separated, and the brush makes it easy to apply. Never going back. ... show more

    • Clumps, flakes, spider legs
It definitely puts a lot of product on your lashes . . . Which means it's this huge clump mess. Had to use a lash spoolie and just keep brushing and brushing to remove product and the clumps. Then it was hairy spider legs. One or the other. So frustrating. Then after an hour it started to flake off. And as I blinked and moved my eyes the lashes started sticking to the bottom ones. I will be going back to **Buxom Voluminizing Waterproof mascara**. It uses a different mascara wand and is great at not smudging after it dries ... show more

I had tried the regular formula through a sample I got in my ipsy bag. I loved it. However I am one of those people who have to wear waterproof. The formula was great but I would look at liquid and my mascara would run lol so I looked and found it waterproof. I also use this with the smashbox lash primer. The formula is thicker. Does go on slightly heavy. I usually have to use a few coats and with this I don't. Otherwise I'll look like I have spider legs for lashes. It doesn't flake. Doesn't budge all day. Which is a major plus for me. Comes off with my neutrogena face wipes. I will most certainly make this my new permanent mascara!!!! ... show more

    • My first and favourite waterproof mascara
The content is a little goopier than what I'm used to, but since I've only used waterproof mascara once years ago, I thought perhaps that's the consistency it should have. Once I got the hang of applying it without getting goopy eyelashes, all was well. I really like it, it stays perfectly on my eyelashes and doesn't flake down on my cheekbones. i recommend using oil to remove it, it works wonders. ... show more

AWESOME! I only wear waterproof mascara due to watery eyes. This mascara stays on like nothing else I've ever tried. It's cheaper at Amazon than at my local beauty store. Take it off by using an oil based mascara remover. Massage the lashes gently between your fingers with an oil based eye makeup remover and it will come off. ... show more
