Purchased for my 7 year old to begin guitar lessons. It comes with a guitar bag/case, extra strings, pick, amplifier, cable, straps, everything you need! The Amp takes just a 9 volt battery so you don't need a wall jack although you can use a dc adapter as well. It is a beautiful color and has weight, it's not some cheap lightweight. It has pegs that have a good grip so no slipping pitch. I teach music and must say I'm impressed with this little guitar. My son will not be able to beat this thing up easily and the strings are decent quality. I had no trouble tuning and enjoyed all 6 pegs being on the same side of the guitar. You won't be disappointed in this package. I'm a music teacher and am pleased. ... show more

    • Good enough for beginners.
Color: Blue
I gave it five stars because for $56, I feel it was a good buy. I bought it for my kids, but it wouldn't be a bad travel guitar. I've played guitar for 24 years and am happy with the build quality. It does not seem to have a truss rod (understandable, $56 and short scale), so I have to recheck the strings once I've tuned it. Has a nice sound. In standard tuning the short scale makes it easy to press the strings. Recommend stretching the strings well before playing. Great beginner guitar for a 6-10 year old. ... show more

    • It's a real guitar - Only smaller!
Color: Blue
Firstly, very responsive customer service. Initially I thought there was a problem. Turned out there wasn't. My mistake. Before I realized my error, I contacted customer service. They responded quickly and constructively. Very nice! Now to the guitar itself. This is a real guitar. Only smaller in length. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the neck width and also the lower string spacing with at the body side is the same standard as a full size guitar. So in addition for this guitar being very suitable for a child with smaller arms, it could actually be useful as a travel guitar for an adult. Without an amplifier it is of course quiet. But the body resonance gives a little bit of volume even when not plugged in. So would be great to practice in a quiet place like a hotel room. Or through a headphone amp. The guitar action (generally defined as the height gap between the fretboard and the strings) is playable as received. I have years of guitar setup experience. I will be making adjustments so that very little finger pressure will be needed over the fretboard. Will be very helpful for my 8-year-old beginner guitar player. I appreciated the full set of accessories. The second set of strings. Even a small Allen wrench for making fine adjustments at the bridge. I have not tried the little amplifier yet. So can't comment. I wouldn't expect much being so small and battery-powered. Also does not have reverb or distortion effects. Only volume in tone controls. However, I did plug the guitar into a normal guitar amplifier. Sounded fine. So the magnetic pickup does the job! ... show more

    • Good quality and price
Color: Blue
I bought this guitar for my 2 year old and 8 year old. It’s a great fit for both. You can adjust the straps, which makes it great for both ages. It’s perfect for their first guitar and great entertainment! 🎸

    • Nice little instrument. Great value!
Color: Blue
Got this for my son, who has been begging for a "rock and roll" guitar, for his 4th birthday. I worried he was too small / young for anything but a toy, but he's had no trouble handling it and it's something he can use for years to come. What's more, it plays surprisingly well for $70. I frankly didn't expect much, but the action isn't bad at all and it holds a tune well. The tuning pegs are a bit rough & imprecise, but they serve with some fiddling. Coupled with a case, extra strings, a strap, a few pics, a patch cord, and a serviceable little amp, it's an incredible value. ... show more

    • Terrible!
Color: Blue
I bought this for my children to replace their accustic that I broke. I just wanted to see if they would even try to learn guitar before buying a better quality one. Everything in it is cheaply made beyond excuses. The strings were stretching and changing sound within ten minutes of me trying to test it. The bag is too thin to protect anything inside, and it's awkward to carry. The picks were way too flimsy. The amp just quit working after a total of around 4 hours of use. Their $30 accustic guitar that I accidentally busted by dropping a tool through it still works and sounds better. I wanted to give this a 2 star because 1 star felt mean but honestly, it would easily be a 1.8/10 so I can't justify 2/5. I hope I was just their least lucky person ever and it isn't always this low quality. ... show more
