This phone case is really nice, especially for the affordable price. I like that it is clear to allow my iPhone color to show through, while also having a beautiful stripe pattern to complement my phone and set it apart, so I can tell it is mine immediately the texture on the sides is slightly grippy, but not sticky, and it is still translucent to give the polished sides of the phone a frosted appearance. It's easy to take the case off and reinstall for phone cleaning. Protection level probably isn't on par with some of the oversized cases, but that's not why I wanted it - I needed a slim case that was easy to hold. This model is a slight upgrade from the same manufacturer of the case for my old iPhone 7. I was happy to find them still in production. The price is great and it does what I need. Really nice phone case for the price. I wanted a case that shows off the phone itself, but I’m tired of the all clear cases that turn yellow after a few months of use. This clear back, but black edges solves that perfectly! I ALWAYS go with TPU cases, stretching back to the iPhone 4 days. They are slim, yet offer great protection if you don’t abuse your phone. The grip on this case is one of the best ever. Not rough at all, but offers just the right about of grip. It’s like smooth TPU sandpaper or truck bed liner type grip. Slides in and out of gym shorts with ease. The charge port cutout is notched out more and smooth/rounded for pinky placement. Someone put thought into this case. I was worried the front wouldn’t have enough lip around the edge, but it is comparable to most TPU cases from other brands. There is fine line between protection and being able to swipe from the sides of the screen. This is a happy medium. I’m only giving 4 stars due to one aspect I think is missing. The back could use some slight bumps on each corner to keep it slightly raised off the ground. The back will get scuffed up as it’s completely flush and flat. I looked high and low for a phone with a decent grip. I really miss the more gel-like ones of the past, but this phone is pretty darn good. The sides really have a nice grip. My previous phone case would slide right out of my hand, but this one doesn't. The completely clear backing without the magnet lines also was hard to find. I have a sticker I want to show through, and all the other cases would have covered it up. I have a screen cover that comes with a separate photo mines cover. The case doesn't quite protect it, so it is more prone to cracking. I like that it is sleek and not so bulky. I want it to fit in small places whereas many cases take up too much space. The price can't be beat. I looked at more expensive cases, but I couldn't find what I wanted. Overall, it's not super fancy, but it's just what I needed. ... show more

    • Day/Week/Months Later - Great case for the iPhone 14 Pro!

Half a year later: Still a great case. Have some more thoughts and observations after half a year of use: - The creaking and loose tolerances have disappeared as the case is now broken-in from use - The sides and rims of the clear case has all discolored to a brown-ish color. The back is still pretty clear. Still say this is typical of a clear case. - There's still a bit of "hardness" in the sides and when pressing down the buttons. Not as soft feeling as out-of-the-box. - The phone has continued to do a great job protecting my case from the everyday drops --- Few months later: This case has saved my phone from a few drops on concrete and hard flooring. There is some minor discoloration starting on the sides where I grip my phone but only visible under certain light. Still very satisfied with the case. I expect the discoloration to get worse in the coming months. --- One Month-ish later: Still like this case a lot but noticed a few things that I wanted to share: - The case has "broken in" and it's softer and less textured than out of the box. The buttons are also slightly easier to press but still harder than I would like. - I'm not sure if it's the "airbag system", the case breaking in or just looser tolerances on initial manufacturing, but if I press in any edge of the case while holding the phone I can feel it move with a subtle pop sound. It's more apparent on the bottom half. I've seen some reviews mention creaking which could be similar. It doesn't affect me day-to-day unless I'm intentionally pressing down on it though. - No signs of damage yet after some more smaller drops - Dust still finds its way in, especially along the edges, but it's easy to take off the case and clean. A little fingerprinty under a light. Typical experience for a clear back case. - No yellowing yet. - There's less wobble/rocking when it's flat on the table. It could be just the bigger camera module for this year's iPhone 14 Pro. --- One Week later: I've already dropped this a few times including face first from my pocket on some hardwood flooring. The case did its job protecting my phone! There is some dust build-up within the back of the case and around the front lip, but it was easy to take the case off and clean it up. One thing I've appreciated more is the subtle grooves on the bottom sides of the case. Adds just a little more grip and feels nice. --- Day One: It's launch day for the iPhone! Just slipped it on a new device and it's a great fitting case. The textured sides are nice to hold. Raised lip for protecting the front screen and (larger) back camera modules when sitting flat on a surface. Side buttons are protected well and take a little more effort to push down compared to other cases I've tried in the past. Qi wireless charging works as intended. Packaging says "6.1" iPhone Pro (2022)" which is the iPhone 14 Pro model. ... show more

    • Long Term 3-Year Review -- The Best Case at Any Price Point, Period

Writing a review for this case after preordering the new iPhone 17 Pro. I purchased this case in late 2022 for use with my current iPhone 14 Pro. I wanted to move away from Otterbox cases, which I had been using for years, but found that their cases had a tendency to weaken and fall apart or break in high stress areas, while also being almost $40 a pop. I decided on these Casetify cases because they're dirt cheap, they're clear so I can see my phone and not have it hidden, and the textured grip on the side is great. They're also extremely durable. I drop my phone at least once a day, usually out in my workshop where I always have it out, and the case has never broken, the phone glass has never broken, the metal bezel on the phone has never dented or gotten damaged, and the case has never come off or gotten loose. It's just a great case. They're very cheap, they're extremely high quality, and I already have one for the new iPhone sitting on my desk waiting, and that phone isn't even out yet. It's going on the new phone on day one. I have no reason to go back to Otterbox (expensive), Apple cases (awful durability), or try any other brand. I found the best case. ... show more
