My switch isn't working in my home circuit. Please ensure that your home has a neutral wire. Our switch can't work without neutral wire. 2. I can't pair the switch with the App and WiFi. Ensure pairing in the 2.4 GHz network , doesn't support the 5 GHz. The switch must connect to the network within the specified 3-minute pairing time to avoid connection failure. 3. How to reset the switch? Turning off the breaker and back on to reset it or long press the power button.

Just plug it in and set the routine up in the Alexa app and then watch this light switch go to work for you! I never have to rush home to turn on the lights anymore and even when I’m out of town they come in at a certain time and turn off at a certain time.

It was a little bit of a tight fight in the 3-gang box, but the SmartThings app recognized the installed switches right away. Alexa integration was good. So far - quite satisfied.

    • Good smart switch, it requires some knowledge to install the switch and app
Just installed one purchased earlier for Christmas lights. Plan to use it as timer. The switch install is not that difficult if you have the basic knowledge of circuits. The original wires that come with switch look too thin to me. If you plan to use wire nuts, this could be potential safety issue, so I replaced them with common 12 gauge wires. The instructions for device pairing is really not good at all. Looks like either instructions have not been updated, or just poorly written for something else, not for the smart switch. If you have some knowledge about wifi and device pairing, you probably could figure it out through trial and error. They should really update the setup instructions, especially they seem to have quite a lot of different types of smart devices. Not having accurate instructions causes confusions and frustrations, which you can feel reading previous reviews. App UI design is good, clear to follow. A few tips. When you pair it the first time, either power cycle as per instructions, or just hold the power button long enough until you see the wifi indicator flashes. Then follow instructions on the app to complete. Process is basic the same if you want to erase and reset the switch, except you don’t need to input info in the app if you have created an account. App will find the device, and you just need to go through the setup and make necessary modifications. ... show more

Ordered 2 boxes for a total of 6 switches. Installed the first 3 and they worked perfectly. Opened the second box and the switches were obviously used. Decided to install the first one anyway since I needed to complete the project. The used switch did not work. I had an electrician install this on my newly added pendant lights and love it. If was easy to integrate with Alexa. I have had these switches installed for over 2 weeks now and have not had any issues. Will definitely buy again for my upstairs.
