First off the super low profile makes them very easy to install since you won’t need to worry about the rafter locations in the ceiling. I drilled directly into one but was still able to easily install the light. Wiring was simple and easy. I like these LED smart recessed lights because the lights came with a junction box, making it easy to connect them to my existing electrical system. Additionally, the canless design eliminates the need for bulky recessed cans, which gives my entire room a cool and modern look. Furthermore, these lights can change colors, I just had to download the Lumary app on my iPhone and pair these lights via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, then I am able to customize these lights anytime according to my mood or just to set the vibe in different occasions. Whether I want a warm and cozy ambiance or a vibrant and colorful atmosphere in my room, these smart lights can even change colors according to the music or change colors if I am watching a movie or game, with the vibrations they keep changing colors. Additionally, these lights are compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, and I can simply use my voice to control these lights and adjust their brightness, change their colors, or turn the lights on/off. I found it super cool and very convenient since these lights added a whole new level of smart functionality to my home. In terms of performance, I personally think these lights are outstanding. With a power output of 13W and a brightness level of 1100 lumens, these lights can go from white to purple, then I can change them to blue or green, and increase or decrease the tone of green, pink, purple, blue and make my entire room glow. The app could be more user friendly. Also, took a couple rounds to sync all lights but eventually all 23 were synced. My first impression was how great the value is for this 4 pack of recessed lights. I will be installing these lights in my living to replace some old ones. My second impression was how nice the quality is for each light. I personally know how to install lights like this so installation will be a breeze for me and will save me money.
