I've been in smart bulb market for years so wh en i saw Torkase 4-Pack of these bulbs i thought i would give it a shot, price is competitive to other brands . First of all, these Torkase bulbs have the connectivity that I need. They are compatible with Amazon Alexa (which isn’t rare but it’s why I bought them) but also they have IFTTT compatibility through the Smart Life app, which some bulbs do not (especially some budget smart bulbs you might also consider alongside these). That was a bonus. Also, there is no hub required which I like. besides, the bulbs are standard size, which was important to me. I was mainly concerned about their height when in my lamps. I had been seriously considering other brands but most of them are a bit longer than a standard-sized bulb that was a no-go for me. I have a couple of quite small lamps that I wanted to put the bulbs in and the larger bulbs would poke above the top of the shade. Super user-friendly to use , connect to smart life app ( turn on off on off on to make the bulbs ready to pair ) and find the smart life app in alexa app , super easy, remember that the wifi must be 2.4ghz .besides, i would give 5star on the user manual , its easy to follow . The most important , these bulbs give off both 2700k soft glow and 6500k white glow, this is very important , since most of other brand only lit white ,but if use in my bedroom i prefer 2700k soft glow, feel cozy and warm . Overall, these bulbs are quite nice. If I had any criticisms at all, I would say the white light should have a soft setting and the colored lights could be brighter. For me, neither of these are deal breakers, especially given the cost. Ultimately, the Torkase smart light bulbs are a very good value and I would recommend them for anyone who is interested in adding bulbs to their smart home. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. What can you say for a product that delivers what it promises at a great price. I have a lot of "smart" devices in my home and lights is one of the things I like to have setup in every room so I can walk in and say "Alexa, den on" (or if all I want is the lights I can say lights on). Maybe it is just the geek in me from watching too many future space episodes but the day has arrived where you can do this at a very low cost so I use it . These lights hook up to a well known APP (Smart Home) and they also hook into Alexa which responds to my voice commands so for PERFORMANCE + VALUE + EASE OF USE this becomes and easy 5 Star rating ... show more

    • Not very bright at 600 Lumens & bulbs get very hot at the base.

It works well with Alexa app but you have to download another app first then link them. I like that you can make it warm or daylight but the actual brightness is only 600 lumens so it's good for low mood lighting. I need it to go much brighter than that. The major flaw is that they get REALLY HOT in a very short amount of time so I got very concerned with that. I'm going to have to return them. My other bulbs do not get hot like that. ... show more

First off these lights are awesome. But in my case I needed these to solve a problem. In my stairwell I like to keep the fan running but not the lights. Adding these smart lights allowed us to be able to turn the lights on and off without turning the fan off! Beyond that the app is super easy to use and now we have it setup so the lights come on in the evening, shut off at night, back on in the morning, back off when the sun comes up! No more messing with switches! We also linked them into our alexa so we can change them with just out voice. Brightness is amazing! Just two bulbs lights my whole stairway up with no issues. Color temp range: the color temp is very accurate when I compared it to other smart lights that I have. Overall: these are an awesome smart light to add simple control to your home and the ability to change the color temp is awesome to adjust the mood of a room with a simple voice command or easily using the app!! ... show more

It does take time to connect, read instructions or go on YT, you install it by using the Google Home app. It’s dimmable, changes color (kinda), and works great with the Google Home app. After the process is complete, you can change the brightness, etc. If you want to turn the light on or off at certain times, you can add it to a routine just like other brands.     • One Bulb of Four Doesn't Work

Purchased these to replace the annoying C by GE brand tunable white smart bulbs. The C by GE bulbs often randomly stop responding to smart hub commands. These smart bulbs work fine, but they don't seem quite as bright. Also, one of the bulbs in the pack of four I ordered won't change color, it just dims its brightness instead. They're pretty cheap compared to other brands, so you get what you pay for, I guess. These are definitely cheap alternative to the other brands, but be prepared to possibly receive a bulb that either doesn't work or isn't programmed properly like I did. The quality of the light is only okay. Ranges much more on the cool side and is a tad bit "institutional" lighting. I found that to get the most comfortable temperature range I needed to set the lights on the app between "0-500," on a scale of 0-1000, 0 being most warm and 1000 being the coldest. Also a little upset that scheduled "events" or triggers in the app do not function if the light is switched off by means other than the app. Considering I live with older people who don't understand the tech as much, this is a frustrating reality. (As long as your 2.5mbps wifi is hooked up, so took me a little bit longer because I had to separate my 5.0 and 2.5) I have only set up 3 of my 4 bulbs so far, but I am not disappointed by any means!
