This treadmill is perfect for beginners and those who just want to walk/slow jog more. It is very sensitive about weight, so if you're pushing 300lbs, I would look at other options, because it does "catch" more for those at higher weights. It's also definitely not meant for heavy running use. I'm approximately 5'8, 250lbs, and use it between 2.5 - 4.2 speeds for 20-45min workouts and it works perfectly for my purposes. I waited 6 months before writing a review because this is my third treadmill. I use this treadmill at least five times a week for an hour and a half each time. I had two treadmills before this that burnt out In less than a year. This treadmill has been awesome. No overheating, no smell, it's nice and quiet. It has a shelf that I can fit all my stuff on. I have it in my bedroom in front of my TV and watch shows while I walk. The arms can be up or down. It also connects to an app if you want to do races with other people. It's smaller than your gym treadmill, but perfect for keeping in the home. I shopped around a lot and I would recommend this treadmill if you're looking to get in shape or keep active. ... show more

I’m so in love with this treadmill. It is very reliable. When I first started using it I was 272 pounds, now I’m 255 pounds. I’ve been using it for about 2 months and it runs really well. I’m glad the arms on the treadmill can go up and down, it may get in the way depending on if you’re walking or running. I do feel when you use the pause function it should last longer than what seems like 3 mins. It’s easy to move around in my room, there’s wheels at one end. Be careful because there’s a button by the power button that deactivates it, you’ll have to unplug and plug it back. This is the 2nd treadmill I’ve purchased in almost 2 years and I feel this one will last much longer. ... show more

The directions for putting it together did not make sense. It said to lift up the arms, the arms would not move. After spending a long time to figure out the problem we realized the bolts were already in the machine and needed to be loosened in order to raise the arms. Then the bolt fell into the machine and we had to take that partially apart to get the bolt out. After spending hours instead of minutes putting it together it does work fairly well. We just wanted something cheap, but also gets the job done. Setting this thing up was easy, however carrying the entire box to its general location in our basement was a tad heavy. We've had this thing for a month so far and no real issues arose, except for our cats jumping on the touch screen buttons and starting the low speed settings/making it run all night while we're sleeping... So if you have curious cats, I recommend using the power switch located at the base to keep it from turning on when not in use lol. The watch/fitness app is not worth it, hardly works, hence the missing star but is not a big deal for me. Oiling maintenance is required every so often, and the max speed is 7.5mph.
