The media could not be loaded. It’s the little things that make these switches stand out. For example, the buttons have a solid tactile click. The main paddle switch for on/off works as expected, just slightly better - there’s a bit of depth when the paddle is pressed before reaching a tiny bump and then clicking into on/off. This tactile feedback is also on the smaller dimmer buttons and really feels luxurious (if you can say that about a switch?) I like the feel of the Meross buttons a lot better than the other switches I’m using, including some that are 4x the price. Installation was simple enough. The app gives detailed steps, written in clear, concise English, with good illustrations, so there’s no confusion. There’s a printed guide and QR codes to a complete manual too. I thought it was a nice touch for them to include little pre-printed labels for the wiring. This saved me from mixing up the line/load wires. The Alexa integration is excellent, almost like magic. I already had the Meross app and Alexa found the devices before I’d even finished installing them. I wish it was always this easy. Since then, Alexa hasn’t missed a single command on these switches. They work flawlessly both with direct commands (on/off, 50% brightness) and within routines. Also, the Meross app has a few handy features that aren’t found on some of the other switches. The big one is trimming: setting up minimum and maximum brightness levels. Some LED bulbs (especially the older ones) don’t like to be turned down too low or they’ll start to flicker. Using the Meross app, it’s simple to set a minimum level. For example, anything below 35% made my lights flicker, so I just pulled the minimum up to 35% (see pic). Now, I can turn the lights to low (by button/app/voice) and not have to worry about it. The app also has its own built-in routines that includes one of my personal favorites: a countdown timer. With this, I can flip the switch on and leave it and know that it will turn itself off in X minutes. This countdown timer can also integrate with Alexa so that an Alexa routine can turn on a light and the Meross countdown will turn it off. PS: It looks like they’re adding Smartthings support too - the app says it starts 8/24. ... show more

I like how these switches came packaged and step-by-step installation instructions on the Meross app is thorough and easy to understand. I am happy with the convenience these switches provide. However, I have a problem with all four dimmable switches (and a previous one I purchased/installed) in that the LED on the switch is off when the switch is off and comes on when the switch comes on. This is opposite of what should happen as the LED is meant to be on when the switch is off so you can find the switch in the dark if you need to access it manually (without using Alexa). In fact, I've installed nine of the Meross single pole switches and the LED is on when the switch is off and off when the switch is on ... which is correct. Making matters worse, I have the dimmer switch (for lights) installed right next to a single pole switch (for fans) and they look odd because when both switches are off, the LED on the single pole switch is on and the LED on the dimmable switch is off (and they should be the same). Also, each switch comes with a switch plate for each single switch. When you place them together, you have to go to the hardware store (or order on-line) double gang switch plates (and in my case, I will need a couple triple gang switch plates as I continue to install smart switches). I notified Meross support and 'Pamela' didn't get back to me for a week. She eventually sent me some instructions to attempt to solve the issue and said if that didn't solve it to send an explanation and video of the issues which I did 10 days ago, still waiting to hear from Meross. If they can't solve the issue remotely and have to send new switches, then I'm going to have to re-install five switches which means removing 10 switches because you can't just remove one of the switches when they are side by side due to the wiring (particularly the common wire) not being long enough. Perhaps I've done something wrong ... if so, I don't know what it could be as this is common sense stuff. Trust Meross will provide a solution. I've purchased two of their smart garage door openers, three smart plugs, and 14 switches. Other than the dimmable switch LED problem and the SLOW customer support, I'm mostly satisfied with the Meross products. ... show more

I have been using these smart dimmer switches for about a week and am very impressed with them. Just like Meross's smart wifi garage door opener, the smart dimmer switches also work very well. I am able to control my lights with google assistant, alexa, and the Meross app without any problems. I was not sure if the smart dimmer switches supported IFTT when I bought them because it was not listed in the amazon listing, but when I tried it out, it worked and I was able to setup with the smart dimmer switches with IFTT successfully. The instructions to install and setup the dimmers were very easy to follow through the Meross app and everything needed for the installation was included in the box . I am very happy with these smart dimmer switches and would recommend these to anyone who wants to make their home a little bit more smarter. ... show more
