In days of yore, I used a product in a little tub, just like this, and it was called Peter's Plant Food. When looking for it recently, all I could find was Peter's in huge, industrial/agricultural sized amounts, and it was not the same product. Some reading informed me that this product, Jack's, IS the same product I used for houseplants, many years ago. The Peter's family sold the company, and one of the descendants, Jack, later bought it back, in part or in whole. A condition of the first sale was use of the name, therefore, it is now known as Jack's. Anyway, this is fabulous stuff. I have a houseful of plants, and they love, love, love this product. If I go a few weeks without using it, the plants let me know it. They do not look as robust, green, and healthy as they do when they get this product on the regular. If you have a lot of plants, you will want to order more than one tub. SO happy I found this! ... show more

I searched high and low to find some more of "Peters Plant Food"! Eureka! I found it. My plants love this.....the Christmas Cactus blooms prolifically; my spider plant goes wild; my summer baskets continue blooming even into the next year---yes they come back to bloom some more. I was frantic/overly depressed that I could not find any plant food in any stores in and around the state of Washington. Woooo hooo!!! ... show more
