What I received IS an airbrush. It does work. I have never used an airbrush before, so I can't compare it to anything else. It is what is called a dual action airbrush, which seems to be fairly standard. Unlike a lot of the airbrushes referenced in books, magazines and online videos, this one does not have a compressor tank. It has a battery that runs an air pump that delivers compressed air to the brush as needed. It is pretty quiet when running, although not silent. As is the case with so many of these Chinese products, the documentation is brief and not very thorough. I sent an email to their customer service department which was answered within a couple of days. It turns out that this is the same company that manufactures the Ovaga airbrush that has very good reviews on Amazon. The person who responded to my email said that this airbrush is basically the same as the Ovaga and that they can use the same documentation. I do find some videos about the Ovaga on line, so I will try to learn from those, and I am heartened that this has been well rated.

well packaged and trying to look high end. If I opened this on Christmas morning or for a birthday it would be a nice moment. Comes with own small compressor, which makes a big difference. I only have used for paint on small canvases, and it works well. Don't know about the makeup or nail art.

This kit includes everything one needs in a portable kit. Aside from the compressor and airbrush, there are cleaning tools, a well written directions book, cables, and more. The device charged quickly, but I don’t think the charge lasts too long. I was down to 75% after about 20 minutes. One strong point is that the paint cup is removable. This makes it easier to clean. Another strong point is that there are 4-gears. It appears that with proper care the tool will last. I didn’t find much difference between the Z1 and Z2 models. They are comparable in price and seem to be comparable in features.

I'm just starting out but this seems like a great beginner kit. Works as it should, fast and easy to set up. Good value for the money you pay. Has different pressure settings, not too loud and comes with all accessories you'll need to get started.

The media could not be loaded. This cordless airbrush kit is awesome. Comes with everything you need to get started, minus the paint. Auto stop and start using the airbrush button and the unit really isn't that loud. It's definitely quieter than my bicycle pump. Assembly took seconds and it's ready to go. USB C charging is good and you can use it while connected to a power bank. You will probably want to do that since the battery doesn't last very long at all. Probably not great for it but it does work. The airbrush is adjustable and the pump has 4 levels of output. All in all a good little unit. I wish the battery lasted a little longer though.
