Wheel tread is made of specially formulated synthetic rubber to protect hardwood, LVT, laminate, tile, slate, and all other hard floor surfaces. Unlike other caster wheels, this 4-piece rubber caster wheel set contains two universal attachment options. Whether you need to mount these to a chair with a 5/16" stem or to a cabinet using a flat top plate, this handy pack includes all the required mounting hardware. Ideal replacement set or in new construction of chairs, tables, racks, storage containers, carts, and more. A set of 4 has a moving load capacity of 264 lbs. and a static load rating of 308 lbs. Perfect for home, office or industrial use, our wheels carry a 5-year limited . (1-year commercial). Not recommended as replacement chair casters unless chair socket is 5/16" diameter. Most office chairs require casters with 7/8" diameter stem.

Took forever to find Wheels to replace the broken ones on this little tights rolling toy. Found them though and these are better than the original ones. So quiet! Fits into the slots. The old wheels were really hard to take off but totally worth it. I did not end up using any of the other pieces that came with other than the long spoke and the wheel. These wheels do detach pretty easily from the metal spoke that does not remove from the toy. But so far the kids aren't interested in taking the wheels off cuz they are so fun to roll on. These are solid wheels, they work well, decent price, came quickly. Pretty dummy proof. I surface mounted these on the cart I was making. They come with the alternate hardware to drill into an item to install as well as the surface plates. So, I was left with a lot of extra hardware. While I understand the convenience, I'd prefer to get a package with only the hardware needed and have the option to buy one or the other. Someday, I may smelt all my extra hardware, screws and bolts into a large yard statue. Or maybe another tool, or maybe I will learn to weld and use these things in a piece of art. They look good, overall quality is good. Installation was easy. I replaced the coasters on my ottoman and these looked and worked superior ... until they broke. The wheels are made from pretty week plastic, they just fall off at some point. They lasted not more than a week. different people set on the ottoman and that all the use they got. They will work fine with less weight load and not too much moving but not for chairs and similar use. ... show more
