Price was right. Bought the extra clay ammo. As a kid it was rocks or ball bearings. Who knew about clay. I am hoping the clay is degradable. That part is still to be determined. I had not used one of these in, at least, 60 years. Took less than 5 minutes to get back into the rhythm. Bought it to mess around in the back yard. My "eye", not surprisingly, is not as accurate as it once was, but I can hit a 4" target at bout 30' which pleases me. The dogs are not interested in the pellets at all. I like this style of slingshot better than the rubber tubes. I find it easy to shoot accurately with it. The extra replacement bands it comes with is convenient.

But that is the point: chase away the deer. One negative: the device is supposed to store ammo in the handle, but the hole is too small. ammo will not fit.

This slingshot is is very accurate and sturdy. We bought it for our 12 year old and he has had no problem using it with great accuracy. We've all played around with it (using clay balls as ammo) and it's pretty fun! I never thought a slingshot would be so entertaining! Very happy with the quality. Make sure you have a cardboard box or some plastic cups handy to use as targets...otherwise you're looking at some serious damage to anything else you aim for. ;) ... show more

I'd go with the tubular design of the strap if I was buying one again. The ribbon bands are not that strong TBH. Quite weak actually. The first one that came on it broke the first time I pulled it back. Thankfully there were three others that came with it.

    • Nice, but magazine doesn't fit the ammo it comes with.

It's a nice slingshot, though only moderate power. The magazine won't hold the clay ammo which it comes with. That's a big disappointment for me as the magazine was the primary reason I chose this one.
