Features
- Shields operators from hot chips, coolant, and rotating spindles on manual mills: Articulating arm positions the Lexan over the cutter and swings 180 degrees open for part access. Addresses OSHA 1910.212 milling machine guarding.
- Installs in 10 minutes using existing holes on your quill feed plate: Mounts to the four existing holes using longer hardware supplied with the guard. No drilling into the machine. Fully reversible with no permanent modification.
- 6061 billet aluminum frame with PPG OSHA Safety Orange powder coat: T-slot extrusion resists shop vibration, coolant, and chip buildup without losing adjustment. T-slot accepts work lights and coolant nozzle accessories.
- Fits Bridgeport Series I and most knee mills with 2.5 to 2.75 inch bolt patterns: Head mount stays stationary while the spindle moves. For 3.0 x 3.5 inch plates, see MG-2T. For ram-mount installation, see the MG-3.
- Backed by a 1-year warranty, and only the Lexan shield ever needs replacing: The 6061 aluminum frame is a permanent installation that outlasts the mill. Replacement Lexan shields stocked and affordable. Interlocked version MG-2-SK1 available.

ATS Safety, MG-2, Head Mount Milling Machine Safety Guard to provide safe work conditions by protecting against hot chips and coolant swarf. Front arm swings open to the left 180 degrees for easy setup and work access, no drilling required, bolts to the quill feed selector on Bridgeport, Sharp, Jet, Trak, Prototrak DPM, HH Roberts, Clausing, Lagun, Webb, Supermax, Alliant and many other manual vertical milling machines, articulating arms allow operator to easily position the shield to fit different work-pieces or fixtures, heavy duty steel adjustable handles- pull out and orient 360 degrees, will not work if tilting the machine's head left and right (only front/back), includes curved lexan shield only.
