Description

AEMS-CORE-X2-RD features with a precision 2MOA red dot, and Shake Awake technology. A side mounted battery tray houses a 2032 battery which provides up to 50k hour battery life. This scope has an IP67 rating, which means it is dust-tight and can withstand water immersion for 30 minutes. It has a travel range of ± 50 MOA, 10 levels of daylight brightness, and 2 levels of low-light brightness. The window size is 1.1 x 0.87 inches.

Works great out of the box. Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the gold dot, but now that I’ve seen it I may have a couple of red dots up for sale. It is soooo bright and clear. I love the gold. Incremental improvements over the good old AEMS. Auto darkening feature is 95% of the way there to be ready to leave on all the time. Sometimes it really cant decide what brightness it wants, but at least the forward facing sensor ensures its almost always guessing right. My unit has less lens distortion and a slightly clearer reticle over my original AEMS. The kill flash is really cool but probably useless to all of us mere mortals without nods. ... show more

Really love this optic. Fits very well on the kuna, and looks like it was supposed to be there all along. Also, the gold reticle does not trigger my astigmatism as much as the red and even the green colors. I will most likely get another a some point, as I really feel it is that good.

The 510C was originally my go to optic, but decided to try something new and grab the AEMS. I am glad that I gave it a shot, because I have already ordered another AEMS. I do wish that this had a QD lever on the mount to make installation a little easier, but I guess there is always just things to look for in the future. Phenomenal Optic. Excellent window size. I wasn’t sure about the gold optic, but it works pretty great outside. Out this on a rifle and a couple quick adjustments and it was on target. Buttons were good. So far I’ve not had troubles with any Holosun. Came with the clear screen installed, and the honeycomb screen in the box. Installing is straightforward, all tooling included. Cycled a bunch of rounds through and didn’t come loose or need additional adjustment. Too bad Holosun doesn’t include some stickers, but it’s a solid choice. ... show more

Shipping was fast and everything arrived in perfect condition. This thing is absolutely solid and the flip ups feel like such high quality and really durable unlike many others. But the main thing…. A SIGHT/COLOR THAT WORKS WITH MY ASTIGMATISM! The gold is clear and very bright! Absolutely solid all around. Red and green have always been a huge blur or doubled for me so I’ve had to stick with prisms, but this gold is a nice and crisp! My eyes pick it up instantly. Recommend people who have struggle with red dots because of astigmatism to atleast give this one a try! Can’t upload a video for some reason but there is a few of them online. ... show more

This is my first holosun I’ve ever purchased and I am very impressed. It is very good quality, sturdy and easy to navigate the controls/setting. The auto change in brightness it pretty cool and with the multi reticle is very nice to have. Whether you have one eye or both eyes open the reticle is nice and crisp and easy to instantly lock on to. When having both eyes open I don’t notice the housing on the sight much due to its sleek design. One thing to note is that it is not fog proof which kinda sucks, but once it acclimated to the temperature (5-10 mins) it’s all clear. 4/5 stars due to not fogproof but excellent optic ... show more

Gold reticle is real helpful for astigmatism indeed as mentioned in the reviews. Reticle is really bright, clear and visible which doesn’t cause much of an eye fatigue. My first Holosun red dot besides Trijicons, Eotech and Leupold red dots and they are the gold standard I believe.
