  • Great Product and Reputable Company
Style: 4.80/4.0-8"
I have dealt with the the manufacturers of Slime for a long time. If any product does not work, they will send a replacement..... no questions asked.... OR they will refund your money!

  • Schrader valve stem is oversized
Style: 4.80/4.0-8"
Be aware that the valve stem is reinforced with extra rubber. My wheelbarrow needed to be drilled out to accommodate the stem. Valve stem needs 12mm or 15/32" hole.

  • New tube installed in less than 15 minutes.
Style: 20 x 10-8"/21 x 12-8"/22 x 11-8"
Like others I still had good tread on my lawnmower but a big crack in the sidewall. I slimed it a couple times in the past but it was still going flat and finally broke the bead while mowing one day. I read many reviews and decided that the slime smart tube was better than I needed but went with it anyway due to faster shipping than other lesser priced tubes and I didn't want to wait since my lawnmower was dead with the bead broken away from the wheel in the middle of my partially mowed yard. It took me about 15 minutes to install the slime smart tube. Reading the other reviews I saw that the main issues others were having was getting the new tube in and keeping the valve stem aligned so I used a 2x4 to lever up the mower then put a concrete block under. I easily removed the rubber hub cap and retaining clip with needle nosed pliers then sprayed wd40 at the spindle and slid the wheel off. Then I washed the outside of the tire and wheel making sure to not get water inside the wheel. I sat the wheel on the small end of another block (standing on end) allowing the tire to slide down further than if just laying flat on the ground. I sprayed the wheel and new tube liberally with soap and water mixture and it slid right in without any sticking. Then I cut off the old valve with the cutters on my needle nose pliers and stuck the new valve into the hole. Next (and this seemed to be the greatest trick) I found an old nut; 1/2-12 I think, and screwed it onto the rubber valve stem to keep it in place. I added only enough air to make sure the tube was properly in place then reinstalled the wheel on the lawnmower after really lubing the spindle, key and hubcap with wd40. It all went on very easily. Lastly I levered the lawnmower back up, removed the concrete block, sat it down on the tire and aired the new tube slowly to allow the air between the tube and tire to escape. I took the nut back off the valve stem and put the valve cap on. Then I drank a beer and finished mowing my lawn. Done. Easy. Quick. ... show more

  • Good quality
Style: 4.80/4.0-8"
Prefer a regular tire with this tube to a flat free tire. Uses the original rim and rolls easier than a flat free tire.

  • Good but
Style: 15x6.00-6" / 5.30/4.50-6" / 13x5.00-6"
Is performing great but I had to take it to a tire place to have it put in the tire. If you’ve got the equipment to get the tire off the rim you’ll be fine

  • Installed in a riding mower front tubeless tire
Style: 15x6.00-6" / 5.30/4.50-6" / 13x5.00-6"
Perfect fit, installation was routine. However, the darned tire still has a slow leak. Within a week it has lost half of its air. I sort of expected the "slime" in this tube to correct this but--inexplicably--it has not. I have given it several weeks and have mowed to evenly distribute the "slime", this far without improvement. A good tube but don't expect it to solve anything but the smallest leak. The picture on the box cover is a joke given my personal experience. ... show more
