Description

No more flats! Slime's Emergency Tire Sealant seeks out and instantly seals tread area punctures in automotive tires up to 1/4" (6mm). When a puncture occurs, Slime’s patented sealant is carried directly to the source. The pressure of the escaping air forces the particles into the opening, where they build up and intertwine to form a long-lasting, flexible plug. Instantly, air loss is blocked and a flat tire is prevented. No jack is needed to repair your flat tire, and the sealant is safe and easy to use. Don’t rely on roadside assistance (which can take up to an hour to arrive, leaving you in a dangerous situation) or on your spare tire (which is usually cracked or flat from lack of use). Instead install Slime in any of your highway vehicles (including cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, trailers and much more) when you get an emergency flat tire to get back on the road quickly and safely.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! Saved my lawn mower!
Size: 20oz
Hubby recommended this while he was away for me to get for the punctured tire on our John Deere. It arrived by the next day, watched the video and did as was instructed. It was too easy! I rotated the tire and did not drive it around. Fixed almost immediately! Will check the tire after a couple of days and edit if there is any change. I highly recommend it! ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars it's slime, it works
Size: 20oz
Slime has always worked for me, it's a quick fix. Often times I end up just leaving it alone, and it lasts for as long as I have the tire

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Works--it works.
Size: 16oz
My wife is a RE agent, and as such her car is prone to picking up a roofing nail or deck screw at the sites she takes clients to. I use this after a tire repair that used one of those cords and a push tool--you know the kind. They seal pretty good but, depending on the severity of the belt puncture, can still bleed slowly even if you do everything right. Learned a while back if you follow up the cord repair with a half-bottle of this sealer (for passenger vehicle tire sizes), it pretty much guarantees the job's done. Don't need a whole bottle; idea is to rotate the tire a bunch of times after sealant is injected and tire re-inflated, and then leave it with the repair plug at the 6 o'clock position, where the sealer can slowly flood the affected area. Then lower the jack. Good as new--has never failed me. Tell me EPAuto won't agree with this technique. ... show more

While the ease of use, value, and accuracy are all 5-stars I cannot give the product itself an overall 5, instead giving it a 3 because I use sealant regularly on my mountain bike and thought I'd give the Slime a try; it failed. Unlike the "Orange Seal" I regularly use the Slime balled up in my tire and did little to prevent leaks/punctures. Maybe it's my fault, maybe I shouldn't have tried it in a bike tire (I don't believe there's any warning to avoid bikes), I don't know, but if using it in a bike is your intended use then I'd definitely avoid it. As for using it in a car, luckily I haven't had the "opportunitiy" to test it there but I will if circumstances call for it. ... show more
