My back actually felt better .. the packaging is very impressive ..it is heavy , but once you get it out of the box , you just pull the plastic off and it mattress sets itself as soon as the last plastic piece comes off.. It’s medium firmness, not too plush or firm. It’s great for me and my husband. The quality is great. I assumed there would be a bad chemical smell and we would need to open it and leave it for a few days before we could sleep on it but there was no smell whatsoever. It took about 24 hours to fully “inflate” after opening. We purchased the king size and it’s pretty heavy, it took both of us to move it.
