When I received this mattress, it took a bit of work to get it into the house. The box (according to the shipping label) was 120 pounds. Since it is rolled up and sealed in a vacuum bag, the box is small enough and maneuverable enough to go through doorways, or up stairs without a lot of difficulty, but the weight and the fact that the box is large enough that you cant get your arms around it means that you will likely want a furniture cart if you have to move it a long way. Once in the guest bedroom where we wanted the mattress, unpacking it was simple. Remove the cardboard and a protective outer plastic bag, and then you can open up the vacuum bag and let the mattress uncoil. It rolls out pretty quickly to the full dimensions, but it takes a few minutes to approximately reach the full thickness. The instructions say to give the mattress 72 hours to fully inflate, so we left it in the room to do that. After the three days had elapsed, we sheeted it up and tried it out. It is a fairly soft mattress, probably softer than I would normally prefer, but it compares well to some of the softer hotel mattresses I've slept on. Also, although I've seen a number of mattress reviews where people have been concerned about solvent odors from the foam, but I can tell you that there wasn't any sort of problem like that with this mattress. The stitching and build quality of the mattress seemed very good. I would say that this compares favorably to more expensive mattresses, so it seems to be a pretty good value, and the quality is high enough that it will probably last a long time.

So, I typically prefer a plush mattress, but as I get older I tend to wake up with random aches and pains, so I thought it was probably time to transition to a firmer mattress. I opted to go with medium-firm, hoping that I could get the best of both worlds...support with a tad bit of plush. Out of the box, the mattress expands quickly and is made of good-quality materials. However, the king size is heavy so you will need at least 2 people to place it on the bedframe. Honestly, the mattress felt comfortable to me at first, supportive yet soft with a pillow-like top. However, it was ultimately too firm as the night went on and I did not get a good night's sleep. My husband on the other hand found it to be comfortable, by the 2nd night I switched back to my ultra-plush mattress, and realized that firmer mattresses are not for me...but if that is what you need this is a nice mattress.

I've been using this 14" Hybrid King Mattress for a few weeks and have been incredibly happy with it so far! It's very soft and plush, but you don't sink into the bed like you can with a full memory foam mattress. It gives just the right amount of support while still being incredibly comfortable for a side sleeper like me! It's been holding its shape perfectly too. The stitch work is high quality. It seems well made, and more luxurious than the price point lead me to believe it would be. I was quite impressed! Setup was a little chaotic in the sense that the MOMENT the bag gets even the tiniest hole, the bag starts to expand FAST, so do be prepared for that. The mattress fully expanded in about 4 or 5 minutes and looked fantastic, with no deep set wrinkles or anything! Overall, this gets an enthusiastic recommendation from me!

This Sleepmax Queen Mattress 12 Inch is great. It came compressed and rolled up. I followed the directions, let it set unfolded for a few days and then put it to work. Very good quality mattress. I'm sleeping like a baby on it.

This mattress is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on! It came in a large box and I was able to get it set up by myself. It unrolled quickly and gained its full shape in no time. It is somewhat firm but the pillow top makes it feel soft. I have had 2 back surgeries and usually have trouble staying asleep from aching so much, but this mattress has allowed me to sleep through most nights and I don't wake up with nearly as much pain. It seems like it is made with high quality material and will last for years. I am beyond ecstatic with this choice and I believe it is a great investment. I highly recommend this mattress!
