We are really happy with this mattress, especially for the price. It’s very affordable but still feels like great quality, which honestly surprised us. What we love most is how firm it is. We both prefer a firmer mattress, and this one gives great support throughout the night. We’ve tried memory foam before and didn’t like it at all. It always felt too soft and ended up being hard on our necks and backs. This mattress is the complete opposite in the best way. Since switching, we’ve been sleeping more comfortably and waking up without that same stiffness. If you’re not a fan of memory foam and want something firm, supportive, and budget-friendly, this is definitely a great option.

My mattress was delivered early! Great! Well, you’d think so. Until you know that I am a 4’8” woman who weighs less than this behemoth. Originally it was supposed to be delivered when my husband was home-he’s an over the road truck driver. So of course it came when I was alone. I thought-no biggie, I’m a strong independent woman…i can do this. The driver didn’t put it on my porch so my first task was to get this giant box up on the porch. That’s when I realized I was in trouble. That thing weighs a ton! Pretty sure my neighbor across the street was having the time of his life cackling at me angrily trying to move this hippopotamus sized box. Finally I decided to flip it end over end to get it on the porch and push it through the door on its side. Great plan right? Yeah. Next time I’ll remember to open the door first because angrily pushing the darn thing off the porch just so I had to do it all again (it’s a small porch) was not the best 30 mins of my life. I’m pretty sure I died about 7 times before I ditched the box in the kitchen and told my husband it was his problem when he got home. Thankfully-this mattress was fully worth dying 7 times to get it in my house. It’s firm but comfortable. It’s nice and thick and best of all I don’t roll into my husbands spot because it supports both of our weights without pulling me into him-a wonderful change from our last mattress where I had to sleep like an insomniac toddle sprawled across the bed diagonally to avoid being rolled into his trench where I would be stuck desperately trying to get out of all night. It inflated quickly and fit our frame perfectly. There was no odor I’ve seen other people mention.

My husband and I are thrilled with our Sleepmax mattress!!! The high dollar Thermopedic mattress we had for 4 years was very disappointing and had broken down in the center. Thermopedic did not honor the replacement warranty. The Sleepmax mattress was certainly more reasonably priced, but we've been happily surprised with the firmness and quality. Highly recommend this mattress. We woke up with no achy bones or joints after the first night on our new mattress!

This mattress is the real deal. I just threw away a $2000 latex mattress I bought after a ton of research when it started smelling and pulled the trigger on this 14" elite on a whim. I like to sleep on a firm mattress, think air mattress filled up almost entirely. I was very skeptical buying an Amazon mattress that's a fraction of big brand prices without seeing it first, but my initial impression after 3 nights is that I'm incredibly impressed. First, while unboxing, it springs out quickly and begins inflating. There was an extremely mild chemical smell that disappeared within hours, and the mattress subsequently has had no smell. As somebody who's very fragrance sensitive, this was a big win immediately. I gave it 36 hours to rise before use. It is extremely firm in the best way - edge support is as good as any mattress I've tried, feels like I'm sitting on a wooden chair. The mattress itself while on my back or side gives great support with almost no give. It's almost too firm, but I imagine it'll break in over the course of a few weeks. I'm 5'10 180lb with a good amount of muscle and a sore back so anything with sink causes me pain, while this matress does not. It is also extremely cool, which is somehow magic to me. Memory foam is usually pretty bad at keeping cool and I sleep very hot, but I have had an issue with staying cool on this mattress even with a thick comforter which has usually not been the case. Overall I am extremely impressed so far. The 365 day trial also instills a lot of confidence in the purchase. I'll update this review a year later to see how the mattress has held up but for the price I wouldn't even mind if I had to buy one every few years

So far so good. Keep in mind we bought a king unit and She is a beast to move. We added extra slats to our king bed frame due to the weight and I believe it was worth it. It’s a very firm mattress but it’s very well made and extremely comfortable. It’s amazing that one of us can get out of the bed or move around and there is no motion at all. I think it’s the independent springs. The quilted top is very nice we added a quilted mattress pad to make it a little softer. We could not be happier with our choice

The mattress sleeps pretty good, a medium firm. So if someone likes firm or if they are used to softer, this is a good mid-way mattress for everyone.
