We purchased the Sleepmax 4-Inch Extra Firm Mattress Topper (Queen Size) to extend the life of our 3-year-old mattress that had developed a noticeable sag in the middle and was causing us to wake up with back pain every morning. I'm happy to say that this topper has made a huge difference. When we unpacked it, there was absolutely no odor, which was a pleasant surprise. It expanded to its full size in about 30 minutes, much faster than expected. We chose the extra firm option, and the support has been excellent. It has helped level out the sagging area of our mattress and provides much better spinal support. After just a few nights of sleeping on it, both my husband and I noticed that our back pain had significantly improved, and we're waking up feeling much more rested. The topper feels supportive, doesn't make the bed overly hot, and it stays in place nicely thanks to the straps and igh quality non-slip cover. So far, this has been the best sleep we've had in ages. If you're trying to get a little more life out of an older mattress or need extra support for back pain, I would highly recommend giving this topper a try. I swear my baby even loves it cause he sleeps all throughout the night now and he’s usually an early riser but he even stays sleep longer. It’s amazing and worth the purchase. I have no regrets or complaints. It fit my bed perfectly. I got the 3in so it’s made my bed look and feel higher and I love it. It’s firm but it conforms to your body shape.     • Slight smell after airing out for over 72 hours
Last night was the first night I slept on the memory foam mattress. Definitely comfortable and supportive. Fit my bed perfectly and sheets fit as well. No shifting of mattress topper during the night. The only thing is the smell. I aired it out for a week but you can still smell the out gassing . I have an ozone air purifier that I might try to get more of the smell out. I only woke up once because I was hot. I bought the topper to extend the life of my mattress. ... show more
