I bought this to use while sleeping in a hammock versus using a blanket. I specifically searched for a larger sleeping bag and choose this one. Now, I haven't slept in a sleeping bag in probably 20 years or longer, but I don't remember it feeling like I was being swaddled like a newborn. Im a 5'10 plus sized adult, and the length was great, however, as a plus sized female, I felt like I was in one of those mummy bags. It was just not roomy enough for me width wise. I would have liked it to have been a little bit wider so I had some more arm and wiggle room. Once I zipped it up and was all tucked in, it literally felt like I was swaddled like an infant. So, if you're plus size and prefer a sleeping bag with some wiggle room, I'd definitely pass on this one. It felt like it was made for tall teenagers, so I'm keeping it for my tall teenager and I'll look for a wider one for myself. Other than that, I've used this a few times, once while car camping and twice indoors. It kept me warm and felt decently thick enough. I don't know how well it would work in lower temps. I've only used it to camp in my car once as the seasons were turning from Fall to Winter and the temperatures wern't that cold yet. It's easy to stuff back into the sack. Doesn't take up too much room, for a sleeping bag. The zipper seemed fine to me and didn't seem like it was flimsy or going to break. It zipped smoothly, and it stayed up and didn't come unzipped while I was sleeping. I didn't have any issues with the seams coming apart or the fabric tearing. The only negative thing I can say about this sleeping bag, is that for a plus size adult, it just was not wide enough for my liking. I don't like feeling like I'm being swaddled while sleeping. I like to be able to roll over INSIDE the sleeping bag while the sleeping bag stays stationary, and not have to roll over like a log with the sleeping bag around me, if that makes sense? That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. ... show more

Worked exactly as I had hoped for a camping trip to the Eastern Sierras- highs in the 80’s and lows in the 40’s. One night I had to put on socks, but otherwise I was comfortable and warm. It was soft and had good cushion, and I was able to roll it up and fit it back in the carrying sack easily. I am not a small person, but I had room to turn over comfortably. The zipper worked good as long as you move it slowly… it got stuck a few times if I went too fast. The padded hood for the bed/face worked as extra “pillow” support. ... show more

I purchased this sleeping bag for my daughter (11) to use at sleepovers and and various camping trips (sleeping in cabins, not outside in tents.) This bag was the lowest price as I was looking for something that was going to be used relatively infrequently and primarily indoors. I can't speak to the use of this sleeping bag in the outdoors against the elements, however, indoors it is a great basic sleeping bag. Comfortable, lightweight and keeps you warm. Durability seems fine as well. If you are using this sleeping bag as we are, it is a good option. I will note, seemed like at the time of purchase the sleeping bags for kids were more expensive than many of the adult ones -- including this. Not sure if its because of the themes that they usually have or what. The adult size really doesn't bother my daughter in terms of length and usability. ... show more

Your basic super light weight sleeping bag.. The thing that I don't like is the inside is the same material as the outside.. Let's put it a different way.. I would not hesitate to throw this in the washing machine to wash.. My sleeping bag now I would not.. Hence the reason for this purchase.. I don't feel comfortable putting my old bag in a basic washing machine.. I suppose that's a good thing? That it can be washed easily?? But yeah it's as thick as a light blanket.. Would be great for bike or back packing were weight is an issue.. Just don't think it would keep you very warm.. Because it's not for me. ... show more
