I bought this because I purchased a cheap hybrid (memory foam and springs) mattress for my 12 year old to sleep on. When I laid on that mattress you could feel the springs through the foam. I bought this as a mattress protector and to hopefully soften the bed some. After installing this I was impressed with how well it cushioned from the springs. Adds some comfort to a mattress that is much too hard. Does not slip around or off to the side, even on the adjustable bed. A good addition to my new 3" gel topper. Washed up well, padding didn't bunch up in the machine.

This fits my full-sized guest bed perfectly and is suitably poufy on top to give a somewhat pillow-top feel. The fabric on top is a tight weave, but the sides are disappointing.
