The advertisement photo shows a deeply fluffy mattress topper which influenced me to expect the product to also be that way. However, upon arrival, the topper was flattened in a vacuum-compacted package, with no instructions as to how to fluff it up or if it was even capable of being fluffed. I put it on the bed as it was. The fit was perfect and easy to wrap the stretchy material around the Select Comfort mattress. There is no crunchy noise or smell. I like the simple home cleaning instructions, too. It is not as soft as I expected, but it did separate the hot Select Comfort mattress from my skin which helps me to sleep cooler as advertised, my main reason for buying this mattress topper.

Very comfortable. ZERO CHEMICAL SMELL!!! That’s really rare these days. It takes about 24 hours laying out for full fluff but that’s normal. I really like that this doesn’t force you to buy white. The color variations are excellent. It isn’t super fluffy or huge like some variations but I needed this to fit under my sheet.

Was totally hyped about getting this black, well made, cooling thick deep pocket mattress protector. Well it is black, thick, queen size and appears to be well made (only time will really tell) but not deep pocket nor cooling. As you see in the photo it didn’t go completely over the mattress. My mattress is 15 inches thick and this was supposed to be for up to 21 inches. I just hope that it doesn’t pop off a corner when there is a lot of movement in bed. 😇 It is better than the one I had so I’ll keep it but not super stoked that it’s not deep pocket.
