Fantastic fit on my full sized 10" hybrid mattress. No problems getting it on, at all. Super easy. My mattress is a little firm for my preference so I was looking at adding a pad (and actively shopping for) when I saw this. It looked interesting- cooling, adds some loft and softness, fits deep mattresses, attractive. And not over priced at $27 Figured it was worth giving a try. It fits my full sized bed really well. The elastic is thick and does a great job grabbing the underside of the mattress. I am suspect that it would fit a 21" (maybe 12", likely pushing it at 14") mattress, as the elastic just goes under my mattress. But whatever, it fits mine very well and stays put. It was easy to put on and take off (and put on again). I love the teal color, and the overall look. I almost don't want to cover it up as I really like how it looks with nothing else on it. It is kind of giving me ideas for another bed if I see a color that could work. It doesn't provide much of a plush padded feeling. But it does give just a light level of pleasantness. However, it isn't enough so I went and ordered a thicker pad. But I am pleased to have purchased it, and I imagine it will work well with the pad (haven't got it yet). EDIT: what a dream! It works really well over a mattress pad, and the combo is better than either one used alone. Doesn't exactly have a cooling effect, yet it seems to be able to disperse heat more evenly. Like my torso isn't hot when I sleep, but it isn't exactly cool. I think the main function is to keep moisture from being trapped which can make the body feel more hot. I am less hot since putting this pad on, which is a huge positive as my bed gets hot sleeping with big dogs. I think overall it is effective in making for a more comfortable bed. I DO recommend it. Oh one little detail in the packaging. I like how well it was packaged and how there was a strip of cardboard placed just under where the seams meet where one would usually take a box cutter to. If this was intentional then it was super thoughtful, as it helps to protect the mattress pad when trying to open the box. machine wash, tumble dry low. ... show more

I'm so glad that I look beyond the NEGATIVE reviews about this mattress topper. I almost didn't buy it because of what I read. However, looking at the number of reviews with a 4.5 star rating made me examine the product more thoroughly. My (Brand New, VERY HEAVY) mattress is a EXTRA FIRM (Level 10) Foam Mattress. I prefer a firm mattress, but this mattress robbed me of a good night sleep and waking up to a stiff back. I ordered this topper about 2 months ago. When I opened the package, I was disappointed about the "thinness" of the topper. I was going to return the topper because it appeared to be very thin. However I decided to try it for a while. It perfectly fits my mattress without any issues and the topper began to expand even more once I left it on the mattress. Note: There was not a lot of expansion. It may have expanded to an inch, if that. Lol It appeared as if it would not get the job done. It took at least 3 weeks to feel the difference. Now, I fight to get out of the bed because it is sooooooo comfortable. Long Story Short! I LOVE IT! IT IS AMAZING! This topper transformed my mattress to be comfortable and contributed to a full night's rest without pain. It DOES not make make you hot while you are sleeping. Purchasing this topper saved me time and money. Prior to purchasing this topper, I was considering purchasing another mattress. Now, I don't need to buy a new mattress. I bought a ā€œcoolingā€ memory foam mattress but sleeping under my comforter on the mattress/sheets was a literal heater and I could not bear it so I eventually just started sleeping on top of my comforter with a blanket. I was so frustrated that Iā€™d spent so much money on a mattress I was not able to enjoy and took a shot on this topper based off the reviews and I seriously had the best sleep for the first time in months of owning this mattress. I wouldnā€™t say itā€™s exactly cooling but it does hold heat well. I canā€™t really speak on comfort since my mattress is already foam but it definitely did add some cushion! It is winter so Iā€™m not sure what summer will be like but if youā€™re questioning buying it, Iā€™d totally recommend you try it! ... show more

Purchased this topper for a medium firm mattress that is too firm. It is not fluffy. We are hoping it puffs up a Little more than sheet height. It seems to be soft which is great but it will have a sheet on it so the softness isnā€™t super Important. Have not slept on this thing yet so I will update after a few nights. It does not have a smell like some other purchases weā€™ve made. It smells like a new sheet. Shouldnā€™t be any issues with airing it out. It fits the king mattress well and wraps pretty far under so I am Not concerned with it coming untucked. I just hope it was worth buying. I followed the reviews and other have stated its comfortable and makes a difference- I hope it does for us. ... show more
