I was honestly surprised at the weight of these when they arrived. They are a nice linen material, nice light blue with white pattern, and not too thin or thick. These I would not consider a darkening curtain, but are effective at blocking the outside. These are a perfect length for my slider, and elevated the look in my livingroom. I will likely purchase another set for the other widow to make the look consistent. I washed them prior to putting them up to get rid of any fold lines and wrinkles. They washed and dried perfectly with no issues (no fading, shrinking, etc). The only thing I would like different is the curtain to have a loop opening to hang from versus the full fold. The way I have to hang my curtain rod on that window prevents them from going all the way over to have a cleaner look. This was a good purchase for a medium weight curtain. ... show more

I got these curtains because they looked to be the same as another set of curtains I ordered from another brand name in a different color. I kept my fingers crossed that these, even though the picture looked like they were the same, would be the same quality. They were exactly like them only in blue instead of sage green. the blue is light, but not in a baby blue sort of way, more tinted with a bit of gray as if a drop of paynes grey fell into a cerulean water color pan. I originally ordered these to hang in front of my washer/dryer area, but as soon as I pulled them out of the packaging, I immediately had other plans for them. They are so pretty, and the stitching is so delicate, that I hung these up in my living room. I have always had blackout curtains, but with the cooler weather I decided these would be a great opportunity for change. I am obsessed with these curtains and have already had compliments on them.
